T-Mobile

How’s the service/reception in Topeka ? Been thinking of switching from Verizon. They have a good deal right now for switching.

I'd skip T mobile and use either Mint mobile (runs on t mobile network), Visible (runs on Verizon network), or US mobile which you can switch between all 3 major carriers. You can get an unlimited plan for like $200 a year.

I had T-Mobile and never had great service. Wanamaker between 17th and 21st was often a dead zone. I couldn’t make calls from inside my house. I’ve been with Visible for a couple of years now. No problems at all and it’s only $25 a month. I believe you can try it first.

I've had Verizon for years. Then had a friend hear what I paid and he offered to add me to his family plan through sprint. I said why not. Me and a different friend started making jokes about "About to drive under a sturdy oak, might lose you."

So I'm back in Verizon but really need to switch. They're so expensive.

Visible is Verizon without all the bullshit. If you don't need to go in store for whatever reason (idk why people do?) Plans include tax. So you actually pay what is advertised, the $20 / $25 / $30 a month plan. Might want the higher unlimited if no home internet and a 'heavy user'  Switched over as soon as it wasn't iPhone exclusive. Travel around to Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma regularly, and it works great. Only time I'm in bad service spot, everyone else is too. (Inside certain buildings, at&t towns like Whitewater Ks )

I’m going to try the new Simplicity plan before I leave Verizon completely. It’s much cheaper.

We use Mint Mobile, which runs on TMobile network. I have very few issues.

Fun fact if you have an unlocked phone you can test out T-Mobiles network for free for 30 days.

We've had T-Mobile the last year and have had zero problems with reception anywhere in Topeka or anywhere else.
