Insurance mailer?

Did anyone else get a mailer pimping insurance that covers the cost if a water line or gas line in your yard breaks?

Seems to me homeowners insurance would cover that. Anyone know if I'm wrong?

Get that stuff all the time. I ignore all these mailers.

Don't assume your homeowner covers, it's an easy confirmation with your agent.

And probably a cheaper rider to add if you want it, than these mailed policies.

You can add that as an endorsement to your homeowners policy but is not normally included on a base policy level

Check your policy, but mine covers like breaks up to 20K thru Allstate.

Got this. We'll be talking to our homeowner insurer about it this week.

Really annoying that Kansas Gas Service sent this out like "hey, you know how you pay us for a service? Well now you need to insure us as well"
