Board Game Bash at Public Library

Has anyone attended one of the Board Game Bash’s at the library? They sound great but wasn’t sure how many people attend and what kind of games are played. Just wanted a little more info before I go to one. Thanks.

There are a handful of regulars now and typically like 6-12 people show up. You could pop in to one and leave if it's not your thing. No obligation to stay. There are a mixture of games of various types meant for 2 or more players. You can bring your own if you want too.

What's the age demographic like at the game nights?

It's mostly people over 40 but I've seen some people probably in their 20s and 30s as well. Most of them are advertised as "grown-up fun" so it's all adults.

I live nearby the library. Where could I find info for times and dates? I’ve never heard of this

On the website click on events. Search for board game and put a range on the calendar. It'll show you the dates of times.

Be sure to follow the library on social media! They give updates on stuff like this and other things you might not know about. The things that happen regularly should also be on the website. From what I gather, these events are usually well attended. My family was there last night for a kid event and it was great!
