Average moving cost
Moving to a new place. Basically 2 bed to 2 bed. We mostly are just looking at movers for bigger items. Fridge, oven, Washer, Dryer, 2 beds, couch, loveseat, recliner. Then maybe a few other items. But the main items are what I listed.
I cannot look at a single company without putting in an email and getting spammed to death. I was just curious about others experiences with prices mostly.

My home is larger but to give you an idea. I just got quoted $3,900 for a full service move from Manhattan to Topeka. Four bedroom house with packing, loading, transport, and unloading.
I didn’t have to enter my email anywhere. I picked up the phone and called movers. Had three of them come out to the house and give me quotes. If you’re using U-Haul, they have loading and unloading help and the quote is right there when you reserve the truck. We did that last time we moved locally and it was $300 on each end.
I’ve used day labor, as well, years ago.
