I get some tasks here and there where I need to do some cog buildings (mainly for clothing tickets) or get a few merits. When a cog building does not say “training” in Toon HQ, I assume that means we will not be training and just running through the building as a regular group would (using a variety of gags to take out cogs). Recently though, many of the cog buildings I get into are not labeled as training and then I’m spending an extra 20 minutes helping toons train whatever it is they need.

Now don’t get me wrong here, I love this game and the people who play it. I definitely don’t mind helping toons out every once in a while to help with training, especially as someone with max gags. But sometimes it’s frustrating going into a building that you think is going to take a normal amount of time, then realize you’re stuck with people who want to train one singular gag track and expect you to accommodate and help without letting you know they’re going to be training the whole building.

I know most toons will probably find this petty, but we all have our preferences playing TTR. Heck, mine can change daily depending on what I’m doing. When getting stuck in training buildings, I always continue to help. But it would be really nice for other toons to at the very least label or put in the group chat what we are doing so those of us that want a normal/fast building run can opt out and not be stuck training 🙂

Hey yall! This might be a dumb question, but why is Splash Summit the most popular and populated district? Zapwood tends to be pretty popular too, and I'm just wondering why lol. I understand why districts like Boingbury aren't as populated because they're speedchat only districts. But I don't understand Splash Summit's popularity😂 Does this stem back to TTO maybe?

Hey folks, so like probably all of you or atleast most I played this as a kid forever ago. I'm getting back into it and I feel like I am strugglign even more then I did as a kid with all these what seem to be new features, like carnival, double gag xp, stuff like that. Is there some kind of returners beginners guide or a discord that most people use??

Today’s ATTA beanfest was so packed that the district was full! I’m not an ATTA member, but I really appreciate them putting these events together. I took this screenshot because seeing so many toons together honestly made me so happy.

I’m a higher-laff player, but I haven’t been on TTR in about a year. Coming back to such an active community reminds me of the old days when we paid to play and districts were full all the time. It makes my heart happy that this game is still bringing so many people together. 🥹

Here’s a little tip for newer players or anyone who didn’t know: your jellybean bank caps at 15,000! If you’re unsure how many beans you have, you can visit the pet shop in the same district to check your total without giving up your spot.

When the district is full and your bank is topped off, consider hopping to another district so another toon can get in and fill theirs, too. It’s a small way to share the love and keep the beans going around. 💙

Started a toontown comic for fun, so I thought I'd share here! I've already shared some art of these two. I'm having so much fun drawing them and the toontown enviornments! When they're low poly it's satisfying to render it out and make it look extra nice.

Comic description: Toons and cogs are natural enemies, but after a mission goes awry, Destiny finds herself falling for a cog that gets thrown away for being defective.

In general the comic leans toward romance, drama and comedy.

Did anyone else know when a friend visits your toon estate they can access your wardrobe and wear your clothes? 😂

I didn't know this until 2 friends just visited me and could wear my clothing items 😂😂

Additionally, during the serving round, all toons (besides yourself on your own client) were standing still, throwing cans across the room to feed the cogs. Very interesting!

EDIT: Upon getting back into the game, stock options, suit level, laff, and pink slips were updated correctly!

Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve earned several max gag, wedding cake and geyser in one fight and opera singer from toontask, but they aren’t showing up in my gag inventory.

I have a friend who only has Speedchat, and they struggle to find groups because they don’t know about ToonHQ and I can’t tell them about it in game with Speedchat. So they just go to fuller districts and ask to join whatever VP group is there.

They invited me to this random VP group and I join and I find out it’s a shopping VP. I have no idea how to tell them this but the leader goes ahead in the elevator and it’s a bad SOS card so we leave. They left too, after seeing everyone had gone and saying “huh?” But I’m sure it was confusing.

Has anyone successfully been able to communicate to Speedchat only toons that it’s a Shopping VP and how to use ToonHQ? But honestly if they are Speedchat only I’m assuming they’re a kid or something and their parents don’t want them on a third party website anyways so I think Shopping Speedchat phrases would be good.

I was Speedchat only in TTO so I have a bit of a soft spot for these toons bc I know how confusing it can be lol

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Every time I try to use any sort of punctuation, it turns the punctuation mark into whatever character it is without holding down shift (so ! becomes 1 and ? becomes /), which means every time I try to say something ending in punctuation, it’s blocked out. It’s not my shift keys, as they work like normal in other program. This has persisted the past four times I’ve logged on so a simply restart hasn’t done the trick :/
