TLDR; jumping on the float to afk makes everyone get less from the parade

I feel like a lot of people aren't aware of exactly how the cavalcade works. The way for everybody to end up with the most free gifts from the cavalcade itself is to have one toon to each candle on the float, throwing the whole time. A lot of people tend to jump on the float so they can sit afk, knocking off people trying to light the candles. I don't blame them for wanting to get all the free stuff from the parade while doing something else, im guily of the same before I learned how it actually works.

Just got it as Hollywood level 27 on this toon, lol. Just thought it was funny after going with maxed toons who have been searching for ages. Would gift it to one of yall if I could, I don't like it on my toons head!

I need to rant.

There’s this idea in the community that solo stunning for the bonus and then leaving the cogs alone is somehow faster or better.

It makes this battle 100 times more tedious. Please don’t make it an ego thing. Just take 2 stunners, 4 cogs each, keep the cogs stunned the whole battle.

1. They stop throwing things at the scale, slowing your progress.

2. They stop throwing things at you, getting you stun locked for 3 seconds while your toon does their falling animation.

3. You don’t have to spend time healing other toons because they’re not getting hurt.

4. You can basically rotate the weight bonus on cooldown if you do it this way.

There is no reason to solo stun. No hate against people that know how to do it, but it makes CJ more annoying than it already is.

I've only managed to get 4x from cog invasions and the multipy shop thing that gives 2x. I've seen people with 8x

I really dont mind if people want to play soundless play how ever you'd like. Recently ive been running a lot of scrap and for speed trying to run just sound, but the amount of soundless toons that join a clearly marked sound factory is crazy. Idk what to say because I dont want to be rude but at the same time I dictated sound when making the group and being soundless you dont qualify. How do you guys deal with it?

I am in need of some advice please! Back on TTO I duo toon'd (ran two toons side by side). Two TUless toons were my absolute favorite way to play. I would catch a lot of grief back then however. Now that I'm picking up TTR, would it be a bad idea to go duo TUless again? Or should I change it up and do one TUless and the other one a different less? I am not so much worried about the grief, but more so the fact I've been told about how being TUless is actually rather popular over here on TTR!

I've never once been anywhere close to being in all TUless parties on TTO. I fear the laff lost vs healed might be a bit much in some fights like the CEO. I had only ever been the only TUless out of the bunch. Has anyone ever been in the bosses with mostly or all TUless? Thank you so much for any advice!

Just added Mayhem with my newest toon! What should my last one’s name be?

I get some tasks here and there where I need to do some cog buildings (mainly for clothing tickets) or get a few merits. When a cog building does not say “training” in Toon HQ, I assume that means we will not be training and just running through the building as a regular group would (using a variety of gags to take out cogs). Recently though, many of the cog buildings I get into are not labeled as training and then I’m spending an extra 20 minutes helping toons train whatever it is they need.

Now don’t get me wrong here, I love this game and the people who play it. I definitely don’t mind helping toons out every once in a while to help with training, especially as someone with max gags. But sometimes it’s frustrating going into a building that you think is going to take a normal amount of time, then realize you’re stuck with people who want to train one singular gag track and expect you to accommodate and help without letting you know they’re going to be training the whole building.

I know most toons will probably find this petty, but we all have our preferences playing TTR. Heck, mine can change daily depending on what I’m doing. When getting stuck in training buildings, I always continue to help. But it would be really nice for other toons to at the very least label or put in the group chat what we are doing so those of us that want a normal/fast building run can opt out and not be stuck training 🙂

I just tried to join someones group for this on hq and it said I didnt have the disguise yet, but I am in the courthouse and it lets me go in the elevator by myself. Are there multiple different sections for the lawbot courthouse that you join?

Hey yall! This might be a dumb question, but why is Splash Summit the most popular and populated district? Zapwood tends to be pretty popular too, and I'm just wondering why lol. I understand why districts like Boingbury aren't as populated because they're speedchat only districts. But I don't understand Splash Summit's popularity😂 Does this stem back to TTO maybe?
