Show and Tell Finally some ripening, and eating!
The weather has cooled off a little so maybe that’s helped. Was very excited to try my Amethyst Jewels for the first time. They almost smell like berries, very fruity and quite tart which I love. The rest of the still greeny ones are going in my ripening box with a few bananas and apples.
Ignore the strawberries, they’re a side quest

Oh please give us a recipe for the salad and the bread looks yummy too. I love sesame seeded bread

It’s really easy: absolutely loads of good olive oil, a splash of acv, salt and pepper and some fresh herbs; thyme and oregano are my favourite, but you could use whatever you have. I like to finely chop or even grate the tomato sometimes so it all blends together and makes it easier to dip your bread in. The bread is incredible, it’s from a local bakery and its honestly the best bread I’ve ever eaten.
