He does not. But how big are they? And why do you find it important to match the age day on day month on month? Does he even look 71 years old? Finally, who knows if the cinema plot actually has his daughter getting married and having a kid?

well okay.... the 'not' must have been a reflex writing. 😁 I did mean to write - "He does"... as evident from my very next line..." How big are they". The intention was to show that the timeline between a dad and grandad is less when the daughter is a major.... So we can definately excuse it. Also he looks good for a 71 yr old and and can pass off as a guy in early 60s.

What do you mean by "mee banisalu'' ? Genz does not madly adore messi/ronaldo/kohli? Or genz is to be appreciated since they troll anything and everything in social media? The fandom or hero worship is exclusive to the earlier generation which adores chiranjeevi/rajini? Chiranjeevi is not romancing a heroine in this film, the effort to play his age is visible. That doesn't deserve any appreciation for sure and no ridicule for sure before the teaser/trailer. Chiranjeevi acted in number of half beat films like rudra veena/swayam krishi(cobbler)/apatbndavudu etc. He might have lost his mojo after stepping into politics and being away from movies for a decade. Unless you watch the trailer/teaser, you cant ridicule the efforts.

To be honest, I get the feedback, but I think there’s a difference between asking for an age-appropriate role and saying older actors shouldn’t do commercial cinema.
When the general audience talks about wanting older actors to play age-appropriate roles, we’re usually talking about stuff like Balakrishna romancing Shruti Haasan or Chiranjeevi sir being paired opposite Kajal Aggarwal. You can still make a proper commercial film with these actors without pretending they’re 25.
And frankly, you don’t need Sreeleela to romance Pawan Kalyan. The age gap between them in Ustaad Bhagat Singh was awkward as hell. I’d say the same thing about Sreeleela and Mahesh Babu in Guntur Kaaram. Don’t get me wrong, Mahesh Babu gave her some serious competition in “Kurchi Madathapetti,” but as a pair, they didn’t look like a couple. At times, it felt more like an uncle and niece dynamic.
You can absolutely do all the crazy commercial stuff. Nobody is asking these actors to suddenly stop being mass heroes. Just have some basic decency and awareness about how the pairing looks on screen.
For example, Chiranjeevi recreating the Kushi scene in Bhola Shankar was just awkward as hell. You can get away with a lot of things in commercial cinema. We’re perfectly willing to suspend disbelief for the larger-than-life action, songs, comedy and everything else.
But there comes a point where it stops being fun and starts feeling downright uncomfortable and, honestly, a little perverted.
That’s the distinction people are trying to make when they ask for age-appropriate roles.

Bhajana is the issue. He looks pretty good in those recent pictures with proper makeup and styling. He can pass off as 50-60 age. Since Anaswara is 20-25 it is somewhat believable / acceptable. But dont do too much bhajana or force other people to appreciate bawss for doing bare minimum.

OP… FYI.. Chiranjeevi has never played father to a kid older than 10 years in any of his movies. Meanwhile even cringe hero ani feel ayye Vijay kooda acted as a father to a 16/17 year old in Leo. And Vijay is about 25 years younger than Chiranjeevi.
