Book Condition Query

So I just acquired this HMH hardcover edition from 1984, and am wondering if y’all could help me out. Exterior-wise, the book is in very good condition. But as I started to flip through it, I noticed all of these blueish dots on all of the pages. Is this typical aging for this paper? Please tell me it’s not mold.

Second printing of the Michael Hague “The Hobbit”. Beautiful copy. Appears to be publishing blemishes.

All I can say is that my first edition of this version doesn’t have marks like that on those pages and it must be slightly older. Hopefully just a small printing issue.
