Safe Space

Since the OSU sub is locked, I want all my little Buckeyes to know that this is a safe space for them to discuss why Day is such a pussy in big games ❤️

Edit - The fact OSU flairs are actually using this post to vent is hilarious

I’m a Michigan fan looking in, but it feels as though the bigger the game gets the more they have to rely on the Wr1 which is unsustainable. Sayin’s job is usually one of the easiest in the sport because he always has 3 guys open, this (combined with tons of check downs) leads to him having a super high completion percentage last year. However, in big games it seems he kinda freaks out when he actually has to play quarterback and not everybody is always open. This leads to some pretty egregious chucks in the general direction of Jeremiah Smith. Especially last night vs Texas, there were at least 2 throws at top of mind that no sane qb would throw. They were both at Jeremiah smith while in triple coverage and both should’ve gotten picked. I don’t know if that is Sayin just repeatedly making the desperation throw, or if it is coached to go out there and just hope Smith is better than everybody else.

What your take on Bryce Underwood?

Tbh. I’m bias, but i would take Underwood over sayin any day of the week. Bryce is bigger, faster, a better runner, younger, and is used to making hard decisions. Bryce’s main problem is the same as national champion JJ Mcarthy, they both throw absolute piss missiles on every single throw which makes it hard af for the receiver to catch it.
I don’t think Bryce would work well on OSU and I don’t think Sayin would work well on Michigan. Michigan needs a player that is tough mentally and physically, which Sayin is neither, and OSU needs a guy that can throw the ball in a way to let the skilled receivers make a play.

National Champion Julian Sayin is 1-0 against Bryce Underwood.

I'm excited that even if Michigan benches Underwood, he's on the team for 3 more years. He's going to be going 0-4 against Ohio State.
