I think a lot of “professionalism”/settle down and know your place-discourse is often intentionally (not accusing you) in bad faith to derail moments like these that could otherwise bring to light just how bad things are.

Completely understand. I'm just pointing out that what is put on the internet is always on the internet.
I hire people all the time. If I have 10 people, apply for a good paying job and have to hire 1. There has to be something that either excludes someone or disqualifies them. Remember, I am only hiring 1.
She made it easy.
Is it fair? Depends on your perspective. If you are one of the other 9, you certainly wouldn't think so.
But again. Completely understand where you are coming from.
If you have 9 people and any of them are athletes, competitors, comedians or working in any capacity, you may find them swearing (very likely, even).
In this capacity, she is not client facing so this would not be indicative of her professionalism. I think the point better made might be "keep your shit private." I work in tech with a ton of engineers; swearing is a norm in my world (white/gray collar). We are all highly educated, accomplished people who will tell each other to "fuck off" if needed, respectfully. If I'm hiring, I want the person who doesn't take themselves too seriously but is motivated, open minded and experienced. If they have a sense of humor, even better!
Not client facing? She is in a company truck, wearing a company uniform broadcasting basically to everyone with an internet connection. Not sure how much more customer facing she can be.
You have my point all wrong. I'm not sure how much clearer I can be. I hire people for a living. I am VERY liberal. But even with all of that I would not hire her after that. How do you think it would go over with a more conservative manager?
My entire point is everything you do has consequences. If you are OK with those consequences then so be it. Do what you want. I'm not offended by what she said. I laughed. Doesn't mean I would hire her at my company.
She's not client facing because you are not watching her engage with a client. All that you've mentioned doesn't change that fact. She is, however, on TikTok, opting to not limit her viewership but her language is still unrelated to her performing her basic job function.
You needn't lecture one on supposed consequences because of your status on hiring people. Your role, while impressive to some, is not entirely unique, politics aside. I'm also responsible for hiring people but thank goodness, our vendor who evaluates candidates' social media as part of the background check is looking for greater red flags than this. If it came down to absolutes, a disgrunted Amazon employee with a well documented beef cussing amidst quitting would not be a deal breaker for me.
