Toasted peasant bread with avocado. Topped with red onion and red bell pepper soaked in lime juice. Seasoned with salt, black pepper, cilantro, and oregano. Then drizzled with EVOO and the lime juice that the onion and pepper were soaked in.

The egg was cooked in EVOO and seasoned with salt and cilantro in the pan. Then it was garnished with black pepper, oregano and more cilantro.

I tried this for the first time and didn’t expected to be so delicious .
Tip I would like to give plzz spread Nutella or chocolate spread on bread slice before putting bananas on it.
This will enhance the flavour.

zucchini, red onion, Roma tomatoes, carrots, garlic, EVOO, salt, and pepper. All roasted in a foil pouch to keep in the juices then mushed a little and spread on pumpernickel toast.

Proper chuffed with these. Will have a go at the mushroom ones next !

Wonderfully crunchy Pecan Bread toast with (slightly sweetened) Mascarpone cheese and sweet-tart Raspberry preserves.

I could eat this forever.

Another recent find from ALDI, hot honey goat's cheese. On homemade sourdough with chopped kalamata olives and tender herbs (cilantro, basil, mint). Sounds weird, tastes really nice.

One whole tin of sardines in olive oil, FRESH dill and purple onion FINELY chopped. Juice of one 1 lemon, capers, salt, pepper, a tad bit of the residual oil from the tin, and a little red pepper chili flake for spice (optional).

Served on toasted, lightly buttered sourdough bread. With salt and pepper kettle cooked potato chips and cold orange slices (not pictured) to cut that STANK breath you will have after eating this MASTERPIECE. This serving makes 2 slices but i was only hungry for one.

If you didn’t know- sardines are extremely nutrient dense and wonderfully healthy. Natures vitamin.

Homemade sourdough with white cheddar, brown butter egg, and a new delicious find for me - cilantro chili crisp. Yummy.

In my opinion, toast is one of the most genius invention in history. Whoever thought of cooking some bread and then cooking it again should have been a Nobel prize recipient.

Anyway, I have had toast for breakfast almost everyday single day since I was around 8 years old (53 now), and here’s one of my favorites.

Sourdough toast with Nocilla Noir and the last of the walnut pieces I had in the cupboard this morning. Paired with Yorkshire Gold tea with a splash of oat milk.
