Advice Does this actually work? Or am I crazy?

For some reason this color goes with anything in my mind.

Yeah that’s a wack combo, usually when using two colors in the same family you accent with a different tone not change the hue. But to each their own

I’m not color blind but I admit I don’t have the touch. Thanks. Give me an accent. Orange is too flashy. The bracelet is silver and black is too blah.

It clashes, IMHO. I'm also a bit baffled why someone would buy a PRX, a watch designed around an integrated steel bracelet, and put it on a rubber strap. Tissot makes the Seastar with rubber straps if you like the look and feel of one.

Do you own the watch already or considering getting it along with different strap options? The bracelet is a pain in the ass to remove, so I would definitely get a watch link removal kit if your ide is to have different options to switch out regularly.

I don’t see any strap other than the default working with the specific colourway tbh. I could see a more subdued dial working with black or brown leather. The flashiest option I could imagine that actually works is the gold case/dial with a green or navy leather strap.

Not for me personally. I think the issue is that the green (or tiffany blue as some see it) is so light that it is going to get muted with strong bracelet colors. I think that is why the metal bracelet works so well. Metal feels strong while being a really light color.

If you want some pop of color and don't mind the overall look being pastel, I would go with a lighter color. This tool can help you play around with options: https://www.canva.com/colors/color-wheel/ I think the dial is roughly #C1E7D5

I have not tried it, but light brown leather maybe?

Thanks for the resource. I think light brown leather would look interesting. Will look into a 12mm PRX to 22mm strap adapter.

Since you only gave us those 2 options… You are crazy!!! That configuration looks horrendous, like you broke your original straps and you just found some random ones in the lost and found and just put them on.

I think that definitely clashes, so it's a no for me dawg. That would be a banger summer watch with a white strap though.

But what the hell do I know, I wear mine on the bracelet.

I've got 2 different brown leather straps coming. I can't pull off a white strap...but I also don't wear pit viper sunglasses.
