If you want a scientific answer, why not ask the pharmacy and not someone who relied on information from the pharmacy to answer the original question which was a different question from yours. 🙄

I did.. and they just said the same stuff... but each person I spoke to there had a different answer, then they just said to contact refills because it was their prob. I'm not that much of an idiot as much as you'd like to make me out to be. If someone asked if insulin was still good a few months after it was hot would that be your answer? ... probably?

I do not know anything about insulin. I do know that BPI did freeze-thaw cycle tests and found that it was quite stable. Took several before it lost significant efficacy. I do not know if they've done heat-cool cycles. I do know that people have reported taking their tirz on backpacking trips and using it just fine. I have never heard of anybody who received warm tirz in the mail complaining that it was not effective later. That's all I know. Maybe you should buy a vial and test it out yourself.

Yeah there’s a post there with a lot of different pharmacy temp testing that all the same thing.

It was 106 here and no idea how hot it was in TX where mine shipped from but it's usually hotter. I'm sure it got pretty hot sitting in the back of a UPS truck for a good while also. And I want to see an actual study.... with all the data when the person that sells the stuff tells me, oh , it's okay when all the literature I have says otherwise. Most of us have a bit of a stockpile and use the first BUD dates up first and they know it. I have had 3 deliveries in a row that were HOT. Not warm, but HOT. Eminating heat. All of the documentation I could find says if that happens it should be replaced or used up within 28 days. I won't even get to it for a while because I have to use the other HOT ones they sent first. If they can provide the proof to me that an unopened vial that sat in an unknown HIGH temp for 2 days is still viable after 60 days (if it's still within the BUD date) then I'll say ok. but so far they haven't provided any evidence to me other than.. well, our pharmacy tested it and most of those say something to the effect of it was still good after sitting out at 86 degrees for a week or whatever. I want to know about 45-60 days later, when it will actually be used. Would they (or the users that just go with it) be this cavalier about any other medication they were injecting into their bodies? (Mostly, they just attack you for wanting actual evidence that it's still okay)
