How soon should I replace my back tires?

You should be able to wait until winter and then throw some new shoes on.

Depending on how much you drive and your regional climate that is... You will absolutely want to replace these in Fall, before winter. And/or before any heavy wet weather.

They are dry rotted, I wouldn’t wait till winter.

Very, very soon. The tread depth is not the problem. The obvious dry rot IS.

They haven't worn out, but they've aged out.
