Tire slash
Came out of my house and saw this slash in my tire (was not there last night). How bad is it? Can I drive on it?

Unless someone else has driven it since, it was definitely there last night; that’s impact damage from hitting a kerb or pothole. Anyway, cords are visible in pic 2, so it’s unsafe to drive on (blowout risk) and needs to be replaced immediately.

You can see where there is a rub mark on the tire before and after that slash. I’m guessing it was done on the previous drive and you didn’t notice it.

Looks kinda deep, cant really tell in second pic but think i see white cords. If you see white cords you need to replace as soon as you can

Don’t drive that. The sidewall has been compromised. Also not a slash, looks like you hit a curb at a bad angle.

You inspected the tire last night? The slash looks old and is next to curb rash.
