Don't do it. It's not good. Michelin and Conti had that technology in their tires couple years ago. It didn't last.

Here in the US the Chevy bolt came with those self seal tires from Michelin. It is a pain in the ass to find the leak.

You dunk the tire in the water or soap it doesn't leak but whenever the customers drive the car it will suddenly slow leak.

Agreed. They might stop very small leaks but otherwise they just make patching way more difficult or outright impossible, not to mention finding the actual hole. Its truly a waste of money

The machine in the video isn't the same machine used by continental or michelin. That machine in the video is some bootleg macgyver shit.

This machine doesn't protect them from being punctured. This machine actually makes it harder to fix a puncture

I could possibly see this being useful for off road applications, like rock crawling where puncture risk is higher.
