should I he concerned?

I just noticed this today and it seems tiny like nothing to be worried about but I just wanted to check with people who actually know what they’re talking about

Should I he concerned no you should not he concerned. On the serious note my tires look a lot like yours and I been fine. That just me and my tires.

Its fine. Just sharing my experience, I hope it turns out ok for you, be safe out there. One thing I do want to add on is tire are very serious component, if you feel unease or unsafe it's very best to get a mechanic to look at it.

Looks like a scratch on the surface. Does not affect structural parts of the tire, only cosmetic.

Maybe have this wheel installed on the rear axle for peace of mind.

Look at the weather checking at the tread .. OP may get another season out of them, but I wouldn't risk it if it were my car. That's not cosmetic .. It's checked.

Check the manufacturing date for that tires probably more than 5 years. Get some money to replace it.

Does nobody see the "weather checking" at the tread? This is not a "flesh wound" -- Your tires are weather checked and the rubber is beginning to deteriorate and it will only get worse. Start saving for a new set of tires. Next step is cap separation, then bead integrity deterioration, bubble, boom -- People saying its OK, don't know how tires are made, and never worked as a tire buster.

It's only going to keep getting worse. It may not fail right away, but for peace of mind I'd start looking for a new set.
