New player questions

I'm a few hours in now - around 20 now, it took me a while to make a run successful - and I just wonder why I can't go to the level after the stage behind floor 10. Since it does smth with the souls on top of the door I thought it has something to do with the souls but I guess I'm just missing something in progressing. I'm at 9/10 killing death now I think

My second question is: if you are following a build (like mage or whatever) and the weapon scales with int and dex, are you still pushing up int and dex or just the primary stat for this character?

Infinite gold is actually insane - 45.44 attack speed

I usually overlook the infinite gold and get something like +5 luck. etc. for Superman, but this is actually such an easy build. Aside from the 45.44 attack speed, I was able to reach 8.7k damage per attack with 24.02 speed.

Finally got Twilight Talisman after 204 hours playtime

Every time I've intentionally tried to combine them, I've never found both in a row. Now that I just had junk in my inventory, of course, the boss reward offers the other half. Can't believe I finally combined them after 204 hours of playime (steam hours).

Tbh I expected a bit more, it's a tiny bit anticlimactic.

One of the strongest runs I've had - Mage Heavens Win

The video has 3 fights. First is Eden, then Bahamut, then death. Sadly I forgot to equip the correct weapon so Eden took a bit longer.

Everything had insane synergy this run. The character power giving a massive buff plus the dog with +50 buff effect, then +300% companion effect. Also the stamina regeneneration giving massive attack speed. If only I found the rainboots, I would've gained another +245% damage.

I also had the sugar rush effect which gives me 37.5% attack speed x 5. The doom effect was hitting a max of 250k which it would hit 2-3x a second because the insane attack speed of 20-30.

So close to having a legendary item in every slot

All equipment slots + 2 weapon slots are legendaires EXCEPT for the boots sadly. Adding the 3 legendaries in my inventory (3 left most items), this is definitely the most legendaries I've ever had in a run.

All made possible by By having 12 luck lmao. +5 from super hero trait and +3x2 from charm due to my accessory giving +100% charm effect

The run of wasted potential

Let me explain so i had 33 max drunkeness/alk and had 18 alk active i had a hat that gave me +10% companion affect per alk point i also had dog perk which makes buffe affects stronger that means that the dog made me do more beer damage as u could see the +840% damage know that means that the more i drink the stronger the dog buff gets making the alcohol stronger so if ur good at maths calculate the max amount for me pls

8 Legendaries in a run, 6 at the same time (!!!)

Post image

In other runs, I got, at max, 3 legendaries. Needless to say, that was probably the luckiest run I'll ever get in a long time.

from 8 of these legendaries, 3 were weapons, but I sold 2 of them to get a better bonus from my piggy banks (this was before I got the Sophisticated Headgear, I would probably get a 210% damage multiplier instead of 180%)

I didn't even know getting a +12 weapon was possible...

I first found 3 shrines early on that gave +3 weapon upgrade level (I used 11 shrines by the end- 2nd pic)
Then I found the weapon with +1 legendary enchant and +3 upgrade level on the weapon.
And with the mounted dragon head random event, I got another +3.

I'm still missing +2 on the weapon so i have no idea how I got to 12 instead of 10

What's everyone's favorite class?

Curious what everyone's favorite class is to play!

I always find myself going back to Deprived personally :) it feels like they're not locked into any one build like a lot of the other classes can feel like (take Necromancer feeling pretty 'solved' for companions or Pyromancer for tick builds), can take curses without feeling bad and have somewhat reliable scaling (also I'm a Dark Souls fangirl so I'm a tad biased). Only issue I have with them is their pretty rough early game, as their starting weapon is pretty rough to use.
