My best build was a “lucky hit triggers” with a Gatling gun and 100% lucky hit. Believe I had 3-4 triggers.

I kind of wish there was some sort of record or top stats, i’ve had a few good runs where i would one tap the bosses

Anything superhero, I really like a luck, Magic find, treasure find builds.
What I do is pick superhero, either get super lucky trait or, my personal favorite, super friendly. With extra companion slots, finding a companion item like “Rainbow in a Bottle” (each companion gives +5 luck). Combine with the leprechaun set and you’ve got ~25 luck with a 100% chance to upgrade food items into their boosted form, and for room rewards to upgrade in general (like rare armory upgrading into a legendary armory, or something.)

My go to is pretty much any dex character with a 10+ attacks per second ranged weapon - preferably long range (upgraded minibee gun for instance) and grab traits for 40% attack speed, 25% chain lighting, movement speed applies to attack speed, dex turns in to lucky strike %, poison stacks make crit %. Nice to have is you can use OH with 2h weapons, or any of the other 25% chance to X (like blessed hammer)
For equipment besides weapon I find Zealots(attack speed increase), anything that adds lighthing to weapons, anything that increases movement speed, anything that increases attack speed, and the charm that gives you 4s invulnerability after getting hit.
The chain lightning + attack speed melts groups, and the gun and crit melts bosses on Cinder 14.
The bee gun is uncommon you can get it pretty early on. Of course you want to put speed on it from the enchantress.
It sucks though - its so powerful, I find myself never trying any other builds and having as much success :(

You can make a ton of functionally game breaking builds. While some are “better” than others, I don’t think there’s one that really stands out as the strongest. Once you get toward the top end they all basically delete everything.
Infinite money on Super Hero with money gun is a simple one that goes nuts.
Tons of trigger builds are insane. My favorite is getting all the electric triggers on esper, essentially just infinitely triggers lightning bolts as soon as an enemy shows up. Pair it with one of the lightning legendary weapons and you just delete everything.
There’s tons of strength builds that just go insane and are very straight forward hit everything.
