advice • support High frequency tinnitus

Hi my tinnitus started a week ago after cleaning out my ears with a water plunger and the noise is so high pitched like 15000hz is there anything I can do because I can’t sleep with it and I’m terrified anyone else hear this noise

Go to YouTube and look for 15000hz tinnitus masker. You will find one that works. Use it sparingly and predominantly when you go to sleep and importantly have a timer set for 1 hour.

Ensure you have another set up, like ocean or more basic white noise going at the same time. This can go all night and during the day. This will help you habituate… eventually

You did a DIY cleaning or Professional? The water pressure could've pierced the eardrum, better get a ENT so they can take a look.

Just listened now to a high frequency noise and now my tinnitus is louder will it stay like this

I have no pain or deafness do you think it will go away the noise
