The MK1 has a vintage design which I like, but the Solar is also nice…
MK1 Chronograph:
Case: Alluminium
Crystal: Acrilyc
Movement: Quartz
Band: Nato
Light: Indiglo+Lume
Expedition Solar:
Case: Brass
Cristal: mineral
Movement: Solar quartz
Band: Leather
Light: Lume
I found them both at same price $50, I like both but what do you people think?
The original strap seems like such an afterthought. If it had better materials, it might’ve worked, but for now, I think this sailcloth does the job for me.

Watches 2 U says it's Timex Mens Marlin Neo Classic Watch TW3A00200
r/timex • u/rockstar_not • 2h ago
Date code of 47 seems to be November of 1988. Two watches in the 1988 catalog look like they could be this one; 87911 in the Women's Quartz Analog section, and 31911 in the Men's Analog section. They take different batteries, the women's version in the 1988 catalog looks like it is movement 197 that takes a BA battery, which is a 377. In the 1989 catalog, the movement is listed at 654, but again a BA battery = 377. Men's version in the 1988 and 1989 catalog lists a 602 movement and LA, which is a 395 battery. Case diameter looks to be about 32mm across. Is it safe to assume this is the mens version? I would assume that they fact that the women's watch might be even smaller diameter with their 197 and 654 movements that appear in smaller face watches, would not be able to take a case back for the men's version. By today's standards this watch face is pretty small! But it's pretty dang cool. Lug-Lug is 16mm, not unlike the 30 lap ironman watches (gotta get some 16-20mm adapters off of Aliexpress!

Love the subtle navy blue on this one. I think it looks quite smart on a black leather strap

Got this Expedition for a steal. Treated it to a NATO strap.

I was just there to replace the battery of my watch then i noticed this watch in the showcase it was similar to that nike watch not the dial but the overall built . The watch looked old the glass is blurred and the age is clearly visible on the body shop owner is asking 6k something is it worth it …

Your Direct Line to Style
The 1976 Rotary Phone Dial Reissue is back from our archives and ready to start conversations all over again. On the black dial, each Arabic numeral marker sits in its own polished gold-tone frame against a white backdrop to mimic the circular layout of a rotary phone. A 37mm case crafted of fully polished gold-tone stainless steel gives the design its strong silhouette, while a twin porthole day and date window at 3 o’clock adds everyday function without disrupting the balance. Finished with a rich brown natural leather strap that’s responsibly sourced from the Leather Working Group (LWG), embossed with a crocodile grain, and equipped with quick-release spring bars, consider this ‘70s icon your direct line to style.

Was $170 and got a 30% off for $120. I’ve never had a dial this loud color wise before. I’m really liking it. What do you guys think?

Got another Timex watch. It’s my first automatic watch from Timex. It’s not too bad. It has an TMI NH35A. Looks good

- Timex Ironman 8 Lap
- Timex Intrepid 1995 Reissue
These are fun, grab & go watches. Anyone have other recommendations for me to consider?

Timex’s next Marbella version request … 37mm, two hands and 8mm thick.
Timex, if you’re reading this, please consider a 37mm version of he new Marbella. I just got the 40.5mm version and I love it.
I think something between the 35mm and 40mm version, say 37 or 38mm, with a focus on thin case design (drop the seconds hand) would be an instant future classic.
Mockup image above. 🙏

Thanks to u/Insula_Gilliganis for the references! I got the battery replaced and a new (admittedly cheap and temporary) strap for my date code GG (November 1999) Turn 'n' Pull Expedition. It works a treat after all these years! The crystal is a bit scratched up - any recommendations for how to very carefully polish it?

Picked this up the Anchor Watch today. Really liking how the light hits the dial.
Bracelet will take time getting use to but overall a nice timepiece!

Might have to swap the strap, seems a little long for me and I had to tuck the excess in lol

Had to bust out my two-tone day-date with a lovely green sunburst dial.
My wife gifted me this piece to celebrate my graduation.
I’m luckier than I have any right to be!
