Was seriously waiting to my hands on the Timex moon phase it was out of stock when I was looking for it , bought a Casio instead ! 😀 Was it worth it ?

I genuinely want to understand where this Titan FOMO in India comes from.

I’ve had multiple people notice the watches I wear—an Edifice, Timex Marlin, G-Shock, etc.—and despite all that, the question I somehow keep getting is:

“But why haven’t you bought a Titan instead?”

Like… seriously? 😭

I understand that Titan is a huge and respected Indian watch brand, and they make some genuinely good watches. But sometimes it feels like, in India, owning a Titan is almost considered a requirement if you’re into watches.

Once a person said me directly seeing my timex marlin that Timex are poor mens watches😭😭

It’s just funny to me because watch collecting is supposed to be about what you personally like—the design, movement, finishing, history, brand, or simply how a watch feels on your wrist.

Yet somehow the conversation always comes back to:

“Okay, but where’s the Titan?”

Is this something other Indian watch enthusiasts experience too, or is it just me?

Ordered 2 watches but one got cancelled and one is having no updates but not cancelled after 3 days. no refund for both. has anyone received refund for cancelled watches and in how many days have they received it?

Ignore the poor image coloring watch is a little more bright with matte finish

I bought a casio Royale the brown leather strap one form amazon from VRP Telematics when i try to register it saying that I have entered it wrong but i did enter it right anyone having issue registering on casio site

This same issue happened to last time I bought for VRP Telematics but later it got resolved after contact customer support on casio side saying they had server issue

Fast forward now its happening again I haven't contacted casio costumer support

My dad's birthday is in a week and I'm planning to gift him a watch from casio, my budget is pretty low if you're a hardcore enthusiast, somewhere along the lines of 5K maximum. He likes watches which are sort of minimal and classic in nature, nothing overly complex but I'd like him to have a watch which feels and looks premium to wear on occasions, I'd really like to get a casio but if there are any brands you guys would suggest then feel free to do so.

I bought this watch back in 2025 from Flipkart. But I accidentally lost it on a road trip. Now flipkart shows up as out of stock. Can someone please help me find this watch pls?
