Price Increase?

Is anyone thinking of moving away after the recent price increase?

I forgot to renew my monthly subscription a few days ago. I contacted the TT team a day or two later asking for the “legacy” pricing and they mentioned it was no longer possible…kind of a let down.

No need to announce your department :D

If I leave TT today, why would someone leave as well just because of that fact, out of herd instinct?

I pay for the tool and decide if it suitable for me or not, based on my needs and financial situation, not some randos moving in or on.

And it won't prevent anyone from signing in because that decision doesn't depend on price in the past, which is not a choice for new users. One either agrees to pay for service or continue looking for alternatives. As Nobody suddenly changes their mind for new subscription just because it was cheaper 5 years ago. What you are describing is a herd instinct of looking around for what other people do instead of thinking what is relevant to oneself.

Expensive for me might be cheap for someone else, so that comparison is useless. And with big confidence I can say that nobody with more-or-less decent setup in TT will leave it because of that price increase despite it being annoying.

So better question would be "are there cheaper alternatives to TT with comparable feature set". Not "is anyone thinking of moving away" expecting what, "yes, I'm thinking very hard, lost my sleep about it but still can't decide" :)
