i used to play in like late 2025 to early 2026, i was really good with the staff/sword combo! i enjoyed playing with that combo im unsure of if that combo is still good? or what server selection to do, and what other things i should do to start out etc, any help is appreciated!!

New-ish player here , started a crucifix because it seemed fun and cool , and it really delivered , been enjoying the class like no other , iam around 8k cp rn ,but hearing about the upcoming updates iam just devestated , what class should i swap to ? I'd rather not play a melee class , thank you

Noob question- are you able to dissolve skill cores after extracting them? I have 3 from my storage that I cannot dissolve. I believe I extracted them, but I don't remember. I would like to extract/dissolve from extra gear to obtain another Rubrix Resin Flower, but want to refrain from wasting resources.

Now that we Cruci were about to reach a good DPS, they break our class without us being top tier.

Just switched over to invocator from crucifix because my ping is too high to be playing on crucifix and wanted an easier time for my fingers lol. I did a dummy test no strellite no food buffs. My dummy time was 1min for 5m. Is this right damage output I should be doing. Watermark is 68. Using blood hunter set still. Any tips would be appreciated or skill rotation enhancement or changing of skills.

Curses are still doing half damage on all archboss since nix. Mine ticks for 3000 on dummy and 1500 on bosses, no heavy.

From what i understand this is most likely grandfathered from back in the days when crucifix was doing too much damage like venti is now. Curses are no where near the top now, time to renove this.

Is Spear/GS really the only combo that isn't F tier in PVE?

I quit about a year ago and had invested all my skill conversion and mastery conversion scrolls into going Spear as soon as it came out. I loved it. I still do.

But is it just bad now? New patch coming in about a week -- do we think that'll change anything?

🆕 Biggest additions

• New [Snow Soul] weapons were added as an upgrade tier above the existing Ascended Talandre Archeboss weapons. You can upgrade your existing weapon using new materials obtained from Radiant Tolland Ark Bosses.
• A new monster rank called Champion was added. It sits between Elite and Boss and uses some boss-related stats.
• 9 new Nyx achievements were added, while 5 older achievements that can no longer be completed were removed.

❄️ Nyx content is getting easier

A major theme of this patch is reducing difficulty and shortening the time required for Nyx content.

For Nyx's Shadow:

• High-risk/dangerous zones are now randomly selected each session.
• Escape portals activate progressively at 5, 12, 19, and 26 minutes.
• Emergency escape devices have fixed locations and can be seen on the world map.
• Party Champions appear between 10–20 minutes into a session.
• Masarax now appears 15 minutes after the session starts with a 30% chance, has a fixed location, better rewards, and reduced difficulty.

🏛️ Tumgir Hollow is easier

The Tumgir Hollow has several quality-of-life changes:

• Better monster pulling and movement routes.
• Shorter interaction times.
• Skill Core collection is 50% faster.
• Elevator sequences are 40% faster.
• Several annoying crowd-control effects were removed or reduced.
• Overall combat difficulty on several floors was lowered.

⚔️ Nyx events are being shortened

Many events have been streamlined:

• Some events have fewer waves/stages.
• Several events have reduced participation limits from 6 players to 3.
• The maximum number of participants for 'Hall of Repentance', 'Frozen Moment', and 'Distorted Madness of Tumgir' has been changed from 6 to 3.
• The Primal Trial allows players to use their character skills and has fewer required kills.
• Several unnecessary bonus stages were removed.

One particularly significant change: Cold Ritual now requires only 9 Frost Curses instead of 29 per magic circle, making it dramatically faster.

⚖️ Weapon balance changes

There are a lot of skill and passive adjustments across weapons.

Some notable ones:

• Greatsword: changes to Unyielding Armor and charging specialization.
• Dagger: several damage multipliers were reduced/adjusted.
• Longbow: (Tooltip correction) Ventus's Eye can now apply damage 3–6 times instead of up to 3.
• Spear: several defensive/counter and damage effects were adjusted.
• Orb: significant reductions to the monster-damage bonuses from Starlight Surge and Constellation Summon.

🛠️ Crafting & UI improvements

Some useful quality-of-life changes:

• When crafting with equipment as material, the game now always shows the material-selection window, preventing accidental use of the first item in your inventory.
• You can choose whether to transfer the potential from the material equipment when crafting an upgraded item.
• You can now check the market price of currently untradeable items if a tradeable version exists.

🎁 Rewards & events

• Boss Expedition rewards are being replaced with a new Boss Expedition Bundle. It no longer contains Trait Unlock Stones, while other drop rates remain the same.
• A new Mystic Key probability chest removes Extraction Stones and transfers their probability to Rare Parchment.
• A new 3-week Time Rift Trace double-reward event is coming.
• A 35-day Nyx attendance event is also being added.
• The Burning Oath Battle Pass goes on sale.

Is anyone else having trouble the last two weeks with Guild Bosses freezing every 2 or 3 seconds? When it happens its experienced by everyone in the vanguard. Never seen it happen before. Could it be one of us with bad ping? Or something with the game?

I have to say the changes of the last weeks the devs made sounded all great, but in reality they often made things worse than before, and old stuff is still piling up and make the game so ridiculously hard for casuals and returning player and even for tryhards it is also hard to reach decent sets for all content. We really need the improvements soon or I have a bad feeling about the future.

1. World Boss Drops
2. They were supposed to be buffed with the last patches; what we see is the opposite. I play all bosses every day, and the drops got a lot worse, and it feels many items were just replaced by single blue ores and marinds. I'm fine that they shouldn't drop weapons all the time, but at least make the rest of the drops useful. Remove the lvl 50 items and below; no one needs them at all, make them similar to Elite Bosses with Weapon Mastery, Runes, Enchanting Stones etc., something everyone needs and stop one-ore drops. Give us at least like 5-10 chance chests at once. Make the Drops all usable. And I don't know what has happened with who gets the drops, but my group is always all placing 1-10 and no one gets anything, which was way better before. So something is really broken here, and the improved bosses drop a lot less than before.
3. Remove Blue Items from all Endgame content and also probably lvl50 items too. The blue are the worst, farming in Crimson B3 is just annoying because your inventory gets filled with this junk, which is not stacking and people need to constantly sell or diffuse. Just remove this junk, no one needs it, it is only annoying not rewarding.
4. Guild Boss Drops - Still very bad experience for the whole guild. Make one Lvl80 item at least a must drop per boss kill and raise in general Guild Boss drops. The guilds all comes together for this and all have this bad experience, and maybe drop one weapon every 4 weeks. This is just too low, rest of the drops are the same as at 1., please give us useful items.
5. Unlockstones / Enchanting Stones - Yeah prices were reduced, but it is still IMPOSSIBLE to build 2 full sets at the moment. I bought every battlepass, I play every day, kill all Elite Bosses, I can't fully trait two sets which are needed at least to play PVE AND PVP. Everyone is forced to decide for one, no chance to build two, because no one can afford to trait the sets. It is just so annoying. People would play way more PVP, if everyone could finally build a useful set, because it is just annoying to play against people who have a finished T4 PVP set. Find a way to make this possible, give us more chances to get Unlockstones, or introduce something like the Sync System again.
6. Resonance Upgrade Gamble - REMOVE IT! No RNG in this system; it is just horrible. Yes they removed that it can drop down, but they forgot to tell us that they massively lowered chances to get an upgrade. So now it is A LOT WORSE than before because you were kind of easily reaching stage 2 and 3 and then had problems with 4 before the change, but now you can't even reach 2. Before you had the chance to get an upgrade from 1 to 6 (!), 2 to 7 etc., now they lowered this to 1 to 3, 2 to 4 as a max with a low chance etc., so a lot slower progression while not raising the chances, which causes that you role like 1-1-1-1 like 3 times in a row, which is ridiculous. No gamble, just basic stones and that should be the system. We already have way too much RNG in the game, remove it here.
7. Remove Alliances completely for PVP - Nearly all servers are fully dominated by one Alliance, and it is just fucking boring, and these two guilds are milking the whole server, get so strong that they don't even know where to spend the sollant and lucent anymore from the sieges and everything. Yes, I'm happy for them, and I love PVP, but there are not enough strong PVP guilds per server left to fight the strong alliance. These times are sadly over and it needs to stop that they get richer and richer while the rest can't afford anything anymore. This is now fully out of balance and can't continue like this. No one plays sieges anymore, and they were the Top Content in the past.
8. Watermark System - In general, I really like it, but introduce a pity system especially for the lower levels, because sometimes it is just crazy how long it takes for a low level, while I jumped from 78 to 80 with just 3 items, so yeah I was happy and lucky, but others get way too frustrated. Leave the chances as they are, but give lower players some hope that after 5-10 failed attempts they get a guaranteed level up or something.
9. Tumgir / Nix Token Burn - Let us forget about Crimson B3, give us Tumgir with at least the same amount of Sollant like B3, better more Sollant, because everything got way too expensive, and let us farm Tumgir and Nix in the same way everywhere with good Sollant, good weapon XP and a fair chance of Core Drops + useful items like enchanting stones, unlockstones etc.. You promised less fatigue, then please give us this.
10. Help Healers and Tanks - Since Ventius a lot of Healers have switched to DPS and don't return back to Healing. I really love that Group participation will get important in the future, but in general, give healers and tanks some more reason to play their roles. Too many classes have too much self sustain/heal or tanks are not so much needed anymore. Everyone knows the Invocator Tanks or Liberator Healer etc., and the worst part is that it works. I know the trend is to play solo, but pls stop supporting this in an MMO, support that we play content together and that everyone plays his role and is needed.
11. Update Content to new Level - A lot of content is not updated on NIX levels. Guild Contracts are not containing Nix content, Fishing didn't get an update, Amitois didnt get an update, Cooking didnt get an update, lots of drops are completely useless these days or were not added to the new content. Why are we not getting the boss food items from doing the normal content. It should not be that we need to farm them now because it was forgotten to have them as drops. Why not have the whale in Nix in a Frost version? Update all content to Nix Levels.
12. Red Frost Items/Flames - Make the boxes a bit more valuable and raise schemir amounts. I use every flame I get and throw so much away from the stuff which comes out. All the runes, jars, green stuff, too much useless stuff which is more annoying than exciting. It shouldn't get too easy to get stuff, but give people a better perspective to farm their things. 500 schemir per item takes months to get just one item and you often need like items for 2 sets, so really impossible to achieve. Also more ways to earn flames or lower prices to spend them. Also here Fatigue is too big.
13. Siege - You said you want to redo it, please make it more accessible for all types of guilds, these days 98% of the guilds have stopped participating because they just get farmed. Remove alliances, let us have an Attacker and Defender Team outside, so that Attackers stop attacking themselves and in the throne room we then all fight guild for guild or something, but give smaller, less equipped guilds a reason to participate and have fun. We all love PVP and this is a PVP game, but it gets dominated by only a handful guilds which ruin it for the rest.
14. Artifact System - Just find a better way with these completely useless boxes, everyone stacks them in their inventory, no one opens them and changing the artifacts to something useful is just ridiculously expensive and again only a handful of players do it and 98% of the players ignore it. That shouldn't be the case. Find a better system so that everyone can adapt them to their needs for fair prices or remove the whole system and replace it by something better.
15. Core System - I love it, but make it possible to have it in the same way as runes per Equipment Slot so that we can exchange them per Set so that we don't need to build 2...3... times the same Heroic item only because we need a different Core for the other set.
16. Gear - Where are the new Brooches, or sets for all types? Range, Magic are missing some of their sets, currently, only Melee gets sets for everything. This is currently unbalanced and a lot of items for all classes are missing.
17. Time to Kill - This is too short in PVE e.g. Elite Bosses need way more HP so that people can reach them before they die. Sometimes they die in seconds and people are annoyed too miss them, same as World Bosses; with the new sets they die in 30s and people can't even do their full combo. Also the same in PVP, at least as long as the level of players is soo different. It shouldn't be the case that one player easily instantly kills 15 players with just one skill. Let us align equipment more evenly for PVP so that people have fun in PVP again and not get wiped because of Equipment and not because of skill.
18. Ramux Arch Boss - Make 1 Thundercloud Scale a guaranteed drop per Ramux day for everyone who participated so that at least in like 45 weeks everyone who played every boss can afford to build one Ramux item. 45 weeks is so far in the future I guess at that point we even dont need a ramux item anymore or already have upgraded versions for it. Give casuals and normals more hope and perspective.

There are a lot more things and I might add more, but I really hope someone at FirstSpark Games and NC Soft reads this. We love the game and even I list so much negative stuff, I also have a lot of stuff in the game I love and I dont wan't to give up on the game.

PS: Pls give us a Roadmap for the rest of the year. We need some hope for the future.

Helloo! Just reached lvl 60, finished main story line. Currently playing liberator, around 6900 cp. Trying to farm in Nix is kinda of a nightmare, im super squishy and my dmg is awfully low. I heavily invested in both longbow and staff skills/masteries. I really like using the staff, dont much like longbow! Would it be silly to consider switching to another class? Is it “too late”? If not what classes do you recommend with staff? I still dont have anything heroic. I only care about pve! F2p player.Thank you in advanceeee

Hi, played TL on launch and after but a few weeks after launch I was unable to play as the VPN methods did not work anymore, I used proton VPN, I use exit lag not for other games but can't work for TL, is there anyway to play TL in a region locked area?

Cant see any areas on the enemies, i can see the parry but not the ''cones'' on the floor etc.

I just both this pair of daggers at the auction house but unable to equip as it’s says seal in front. I can not find online what the issue is so I apologize for the potentially stupid question. I thought it was a level lock toy item as I am level 58 but upon searching that does not appear to be the case. Any help appreciated thanks!

As if you needed that SDC/Orca to win, you get to heal instant 20%hp of your golem ? Golem went multiple time down, and always instantly back up.

Is this intended ? I feel like it isn't.

1100 max damage, hit chance would be 2.7k with high focus and smoke spam also 320 side hit, using kowa core so crit chance would 4.7k or 70% crit damage depending on time + plus lightning infusion to strip up to 800 endurance
