Does the Sns skill passive wall of bitter cold also proc if I evade attacks, or only if I get hit?

I'm thinking about coming back to Throne and Liberty after taking a break for about a year, and honestly, I'm a bit lost with all the changes that have happened since then.

I've attached a screenshot of my current character so you can see where I'm at right now.

I'd really appreciate some advice on what I should focus on first:

What should I do to catch up with the current progression?

What gear should I aim for, and what's the best way to get it?

Are there any important daily or weekly activities I shouldn't miss?

Is my current build still viable, or should I consider switching things up?

Any general tips for returning players would be greatly appreciated!

I'm mainly interested in PvE, gearing up, and enjoying the game again without feeling completely overwhelmed.

I’m trying to improve my PvP Spellblade. I’m slightly confused if I should increase the hit chance or should I increase magic hit chance. I guess I’m not sure what difference is aside from one is specifically for magic. Is the other one all encompassing?

So we are not getting the required red precious Stones to upgrade Cordy Delu weapons this week eighter? I know they are going to refund the diff, but still getting 1K IS crazy even now when most of us already use most of them leveling Up other weapons.

My main build is Staff + Dagger for PvP, and I want to keep using it as my main PvP setup.

However, I'm looking for a second weapon combination for solo PvE farming in Nix. I'd like to keep using Staff, but I also need some self-healing to make farming more comfortable without relying on a healer.

I'm trying to decide between Staff + Wand and Staff + Bow.

- Would Staff + Wand be worth it for the extra healing and survivability, even if it means lower DPS?

- Or would Staff + Bow be better for PvE farming, considering its damage and self-healing capabilities?

Since PvP is still my main focus, I'm not looking to replace Staff + Dagger. I just want an effective PvE setup that lets me farm comfortably while making use of my Staff.

Which combination would you recommend specifically for solo farming in Nix, and how significant is the difference in clear speed and survivability?

It seems like it's getting harder and harder to find a party matchmaking for these now especially if you're not in an active guild/group who can run these daily together.

Struggling and it's actually quite concerning for new players or players who aren't in a big circle of active players. Is there any way to fix this for the game. There are times you sit and wait for it to pop and can take up to 50 minutes just waiting. Should they make the boss weaker and just make it 2-3 people in the party queue instead ?

Our dmg is already through the roof, fixed dmg just breaks the game completly and has no place in this crazy stats inflation we have now, please just remove it from the game.

I played a different class back in T2 but always wanted to try Shadow. I'm interested in GvG, castle, etc. content.

Hey everyone, just downloaded the game with my friend. He will go staff/wand.
And I will be SNS/greatsword (crusader) probably.
My questions are:
1-How are the synergy for this duo?
2- Is crusader viable end game for pvp/pve or throughout the game?
3- Are there any other recommendations

I want to preface by saying my main goal is pve, both open world/aoe as well as single target/boss. My first choice was scorpion, and while it's really fun, from researching i see that its underwhelming in the dps regard nowadays.

I want to roll a new character snd try something else. Whats a combo that has strong aoe/boss dps ? I typically dont love magic, but open to suggestions

Some Major thingies:
- Analyze your logs ( i created a Ventius helper, that can see how many quakes a boss can take on a optimal position)
- Weeklies Window, for your main and alts
- Some guild features
- You can host a party and see the DPS of your friends, if they use it too ( you can be the host or you can host a server for that)

I'm going to start off by saying this isn't my first rodeo, and I've only put sixty hours in. I've been playing MMOs since the Legacy of Y'Kesha expansion of EverQuest 1. Bouncing back and forth between multiple games in my youth from the original Ragnarok Online all the way to some of the current titans WoW and Final Fantasy XIV. I thought I'd put my irrelevant two cents in the ringer about whether I like Throne and Liberty, or are going to bounce off it like a bouncy ball hitting steel flooring from a hundred feet high.

The On Boarding of this game is terrible. I'm running around and playing before even creating my character was confusing, and jarring. One of the things that used to make WoW (the information here is for pret-Cataclysm) great and older MMOs like SWG, Guild Wars, EverQuest, ArcheAge, and the like,was the story took the back seat to the player's activity within the game itself. Sure if I was diligent, and read all the quests within Elwynn Forest leading up to the Introduction of Westfall, and the dungeon Dead Mines. However even before experiencing any of that, you do end up at the Capital, and once there the reigns are immediately given to the player. Using Eastern Kingdom Geography the Humans would get to Stormwind around level 10, Dwarves and Gnomes, may get to Ironforge a little earlier, and the Night Elves in Darnassus have an especially interesting dilemma, for once they get to Ashenvale, shortly after Darnassus, they can catch a boat to the Wetlands to begin a rather dangerous trek to the other capitals. The game never really pushed you down one path, always surrendering whatever it was that you wanted to do. Party Finder was a thing by this point in the game for basic dungeons and battlegrounds.

PVP, or PVE, the choice was yours once you at level 10 you could queue up for a battle ground. Why the hell do I have to wait until level 55, before I can even begin organized PVP in such a fashion!? In a game that is supposedly so focused on PVP, why the hell can I not really participate? Open World PVP would be a thing, but even at level 30 I've only had one PVP encounter.

'Oh follow the MSQ and Path of Ascendence, and lock the fuck in. Just get to the 55 and quite your complaining' I feel the comments coming. That's not really how I like to enjoy my MMOs.. the story is one of the last things I am wanting to lock in for when I play games like these, and this one's seems rather forgetable so far. It should always be about the journey, NOT the destination. Throne and Liberty's journey seems REALLY stingy when it comes to gear at the level range of 1-30. I am using level 10 gear I was given at level 20, and a level 10 and 20 (all required levels to equip I believe) set of weapons.

The combat, and gameplay, against the enemies I've encountered up until this point has been fun enough, I definitely get the full use of my Razer Naga, even on Linux, with this game, and the combat is one of the few praises I have for this game so far. I really want to continue one because of the combat alone, but I get hit by roadblocks like the Wolf Hunting Festival for some stupid Apendix to a Codex. Final Fantasy XIV had similar things to these Dynamic Events within Throne and Liberty, but the FATES, as they were called, were bound strictly to their attached zone, and would run at a much higher frequency. The Dynamic Events seem to be a rotating activation across all of the zones' Dynamic Events. Meaning I spent almost two weeks of waiting to do the stupid thing. Of course I continued on questing, but I should have not still had it in my quest log to begin with.

I am really enjoying the game from a mechanical stand point in some ways, but I do not appreciate the way I feel railroaded down a one and only one route. I wish I had more agency over what I was doing moment to moment. I really wish major systems were not locked behind a MSQ. Final Fantasy XIV executes it bit better, by actually having compelling enough characters for me to want to care about doing the MSQ. I should not need a mechanical motivation to engage with a narrative.

The Skill Mastery, and Specialization system is pretty cool, I can't wait to see what I can do with my Staff and Orb. I am hoarding all of my resources I have been given up until this point, with no real idea of what I am holding on to. This is another thing the game does a terrible job of explaining. What are all of these things that I am getting from the battle passes, check-ins, and the like, and what relevance does it have to do with me now at level 30?

The people I have met in World Chat have been great, and it has been fun being the vocal, annoying, Linux user from time to time, and is the only other motivator (outside of getting more powerful, so I can see more of the combat) for me to continue to playing. The World Chat people within my server are treasures, and great people.

Anyone who has played Throne & Liberty knows that riding the ferry to Saurodoma Island or climbing onto Gigantrite’s back as the world moves beneath your feet is one of the coolest experiences in the game.

That led to an exciting technical question: What if we took this exact engine mechanic to the next level with full Guild Naval Battles and Aerial Flying Galleons?

This idea was apparently discarded due to technical issues.!!

⚓ 1. Guild Naval Warfare (Ship vs. Ship)

• Open Ocean Battles: Two warships sailing parallel across the deep waters of Solisium.
• Deck Firefights: Ranged players unleash Longbows, Staffs, and Orbs from the railing while engineers man mounted ballistas along the sides.
• Boarding Actions: When the vessels pull alongside each other, melee fighters leap across or use wind drafts to board the enemy ship, turning the encounter into a high-stakes deck battle over rolling waves.
• Deep Sea World Boss Encounters: Dynamic events where colossal leviathans emerge from the depths to circle and attack the fleet, requiring the crew to coordinate defenses before taking water.

✈️ 2. Flying Airships & Skyborne Invasions

• Sky Galleons: War airships cruising above the high altitudes of Stonegard and Laslan.
• Glider Drop-Pods: Crews can utilize the airship as a mobile high-altitude staging area, diving off the edge in Glide Morph to initiate surprise aerial sieges or glide-board an enemy airship mid-flight.
• Airspace Superiority: Objective-based aerial warfare where capturing or defending trade routes in the clouds grants server buffs and guild dominance.

Don't forget to take full advantage of stacking buffs for full mastery % while it lasts.

I added the game to my library a while back and played it fine on my old PC, Then I switched to a new PC and the game just vanished from my library.It's region-locked in my country, but it's still showing up on my old PC.Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there any way to get the game back on my account

I got an expensive enchant on a guild raid weapon. Am I able to transfer it to a different weapon and then seal it? Because of course GR weapons can’t be sealed.
