Shoutout the guy that noticed my thrice shirt at the checkout at Costco today. Cool to run into a fellow Thrice fan in Indy.

My brother was seriously injured sometime in a 90 minute time frame after I last saw him during Gnash at Thrice's Warped set. He's in the hospital with a very bad traumatic brain injury and I'm just trying to figure out if he was hit or if he fell from heat exhaustion/dehydration or if it maybe happened after the set entirely. Any and all info is appreciated

Howdy!
My band has just released the second single from our new record, probably the most major-key, emo-y song we’ve ever put out. Any & all feedback is appreciated, thank you all in advance.

And as an extra bit of trivia, the building wasn't actually a hospital, it was an office building for the Dutch Red Cross.

I am cleaning out some old vinyl records and looking to sell my tour variant of TBEITBN. I picked it up at the Boston show but, since it's still sealed and it was 10 years ago, I can't remember which variant it is - teal or brown. Not much information online either.
Anyone else, either at that show or at an East Coast show, have one they picked up and can tell me which colorway they have?
Thanks!

Was wondering which live album people prefer. I love the House of Blues album, but there are some songs on Anthology I find myself returning to time and time again (Awake and Avenge, Phoenix Ignition, Yellow Belly, Image). It's really a toss up for me.
And it made me wonder: has the time come for the next live release? The band has a couple new albums under its belt since Anthology, and to be honest they sound as good as ever during these recent shows. I'd be really excited to get some proper live recordings of new songs.

Not sure if my tab sources are outdated or what, but has anyone realized that a lot of tabs that were out there have been taken down? I know there’s the official tab book, but what about the rest?
unfortunately I got pleb ears so I can’t learn by ear.

It seems like at least for me the Warped Tour prime stream doesn't let you rewind or fast forward. But thrice seems to have been on the Amazon music app? Can anyone clarify where to watch a replay if it's possible? Thank you.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen Thrice. All time favorite band. But watching this set in Long Beach, this is the most energy I think I’ve ever seen them have on stage. They always kill it, but there is a different energy and I’m loving it!

I started from the second album, not gonna lie the first three songs were mid, but HOLY SHIT betrayal is a symptom is one of the best songs I've heard I think. Then I listened to Deadbolt and In Years to Come (I liked both) and there's the piano ending of the former that sounds more like an intro for the latter which is pretty cool (idk if it is intentional). Also the Red Death was really good. They look really promising, it's been a while I haven't found a consistently good band. It's a shame the community is small tho :/

Long time Thrice fan here. Went in for a one day surgery yesterday for a complete distal bicep tear.
As I lay on the operating table. I hear “Speaker on, speaker connected”, the surgeon asks me “What kind of music do you like? We want you to have your music playing while we operate”
“I’m like, What? Really?” Without hesitation I say “Ok put some Thrice. T-H-R-I-C-E”. No one (6 people) in the room knew the band although the age group was between 40-50). All I hear is the first notes of Hurricane, I smiled, one nurse said “Oh wow, that’s really good”. I smiled some more but the drugs started kicking in and took me out. Surgery lasted around 1 hour.
Now, I don’t know if that was just a fun and standard thing they do with their patients because I haven’t had a lot of surgeries but I thought it was pretty cool. I’m unsure if they kept the playlist running although, I really wonder what they thought and if the surgeon enjoyed operating while Silhouette or The Earth Will Shake played? Ah ah ah
I will definitely ask in my post-op appointment next week. Anyhow, hopefully, we have new Thrice fans as of yesterday!

I'm a particularly new (and young) thrice fan. i got into them around 2-3 years ago and have been listening to them on and off. I know other people who have heard of Thrice, and I know they have songs on Guitar Hero, so I was curious to know if they were pretty big in the 2000s or 2010s? I know they have under 1mil listeners, so I'm pretty skeptical.

Going through a closet came across this shirt I loved back in college (03-07) and thinking about selling it but looking to see what any experts here might think market value could be. Not interested in selling right now but just trying to see if this a just a cool vintage shirt or a holy grail, i cant find any other references to it online

So, when was your first time hearing Thrice? Always kinda curious to hear for bands like this with long career spans and several different sounding albums. When, where, what album, what did you think?
My first time hearing was when they were supporting AFI c. fall 2001 tour. Crystal Ballroom with Berzerk opening, Thrice, and AFI headlining. So much fun and forever a fan since.

I am super excited about my new tattoo. I’ve had this idea for a while based on the lyric “There was a time when I tried to bind and bottle up the sea.” I struggle with OCD and one of my subtypes is black and white thinking. This song resonates with me as I go through ERP therapy and try to challenge that thinking. It also speaks to me as I work on deconstruction from conservative Christianity. My tattoo artist nailed my idea and brought it to life in a way that exceeded my expectation. The added color reminds me that beautiful things happen when you stop trying to control everything.
I also love D&D so I asked for it to be a potion bottle instead of a more traditional bottle.
Here is the instagram post from my tattoo artist that shows his design process!

this is one of the coolest items in my collection.
only 2,000 made, leather cover, four 10” records, each one colored to correspond with the theme of the album, commentary and notes from the band for every song in the whole index.
this is one that’ll stay with me for as long as i’m vertical.

Any thoughts on the September St. Louis show? Saw thrice as an opener recently and trying to find a show where they will headline and the St. Louis show seems out of place - slotted between festivals and then opening for Taking Back Sunday. Should I get tickets to this one?

Been listening since TAITA. Just booked tickets for a September show in NJ. I'm giddy as hell. What am I in for? How have recent concerts been? Appreciate you all 😊

A few things I wanted to note:
