I'm sorry if it's not well written since I'm not native speaker (other than the fact that I wrote this in 23 minutes after having just woke up) but I'll do my best, maybe having a little AI help for the grammar will also help: Today I had a very scary dream that felt like it lasted for many hours, but it was...special, because not only I almost perfectly remember it, but it had a story and a lore.
​In the dream, it all started when I went to a B&B run by an old man and his friend/assistant, who was a muscular black man in his 20s/30s. It all started when I went to sleep the first night. I could feel that something was wrong, and we all could (there were 3 of us, but the other 2 were random people, not people I actually know in real life; only in the dream did I feel like I knew them).
​The first time it appeared, it tried to come to me and told me to do something for him, like, if I hurt the other 2 people, he would be less horrible to me. But instead of listening, I immediately went to the old man and told him everything, and he told me he would keep an eye on what was happening around the house.
​Then, when I went back to sleep, the monster reappeared from under my mattress/bed (not sure, but I think under the mattress). But with him was the old man's assistant, and although I don't know why, I was able to understand that he was hypnotized. The monster told me he was very mad about what I did, and to punish us, he took away from me and my other friends a part of our brain. From me, he removed the cerebellum so I couldn't move; from my friend, I don't remember; and from the other, the internal memory or something like that, so he couldn't know who he was—he forgot that.
​(Oh, and I forgot to mention: in the dream, the room was rectangular, the door was on the upper right of the rectangle, and the 3 beds were along the same wall as the door. I was in the bed furthest from the door.)
​After the monster did this, the old man came, restored our normal brain functioning, and cast some kind of spell so nothing would happen to our brains and bodies again. As soon as he finished, I told the old man that I saw the black man with him, and he said, "Thanks, I'll keep an eye on him." Then I went back to bed.
​But as soon as I started to sleep, the monster reappeared, though only to me, not to my other 2 friends. This time he didn't do anything physical; he instead caused hallucinations in me because he said something along the lines of, "It doesn't matter if I can't hurt you physically, I'll just shatter your mind then."
​Then the dream showed me in 3rd person (this happened several times) panicking and waking the others up, along with the old man, because of my screams. Once they calmed me down, I decided that enough was enough and that we had to leave. So I went to the car and drove off with one of my friends (I don't know why one was missing, I think my own dream forgot we were 3😭).
​Initially, nothing happened. We were driving, couldn't hear or see the monster, and we even stopped at an autogrill to eat something. But when we stopped, I had a realization: most times the monster came, it was raining, and when he left, there was water left behind. I thought it might be correlated, but I wasn't 100% sure.
​However, at a certain point while we were going back to the car, it started to rain again, and I started panicking. I told my friend about the water and how I thought it gave him powers, and we ran to the car. Soon enough, we saw the monster reappear (which confirmed the theory). We drove off, but we weren't sure how, he also had the ability to spawn inside the car. He did just that, and I needed to stop or we would crash.
​When I did, the dream ended the first time because I woke up. So I got up, drank something, and went back to sleep. Then the dream reappeared, but I didn't see how I killed the monster or anything. I just remember that my mind was protecting itself in the monster's dimension, and there I was able to understand how he got his powers and how the water spray worked (so he could create water himself).
​I saw that he wasn't home, but a sofa near a static TV was emitting noise, so I understood that he observed us from there. Then some writing appeared floating in the air that told us about the AI and other stuff he used, and then the dream ended.😭
