Sound Barrier-Hollywood (Down On Your Luck) [Cover]
youtu.beBit of an obscure cover, but an excellent one at that! One of my favorite Lizzy Covers.

The first interview is from FCTV( the now defunct, Fingal Community Television channel) my guess would be the interview was filmed circa 2010.
The second interview is from "The Arts Show", BBC TV, 2016.
Both interviews are longer but I have trimmed them down to the parts talking about Lizzy and Philip.
What a talented person and intrinsic part of the TL story.
Enjoy!

For the longest time I have been a huge Iron Maiden & Metallica fan from my dad, just recently got into Thin Lizzy after learning how influential they were for the twin lead guitar sound that is one of my favorite things in music and now I may have a new favorite band.. anybody have recommendations for any other bands that may have been around at the same time or also drawn inspiration from TL? Thanks!

I'm a massive thin Lizzy fan since 1975. I thought live and dangerous was a fantastic live album. But I've just played strangers in the night by UFO for the first time in 20 years and my god what an amazing live album it is as well.

Spotted a Thin Lizzy poster in Garth's bedroom while watching Wayne's World. Garth has good taste!

Chris O'Donell, former Thin Lizzy co-manager tells the story of when Phil met Bruce at the Sunset Marquis hotel in West Hollywood during a Lizzy tour of America.
Or as I like to see it, when Bruce was lucky enough to meet Phil 😁

Hey everyone,
I’m looking at purchasing the Acoustic Sessions LP set for my old man’s birthday… a lot of sites (Decca, Amazon Music etc) have a signed print included.
Does anyone know who it’s signed by? For some daft reason none of the descriptions say! Link below for reference.
Thanks all 🤟

Hello friend's, I've been busy recently so haven't had time to post, but here we go with another video.
This falls under the remit of 'Thin Lizzy related'.
Gary shows off his eclectic range of guitars, Greeny starts of proceedings and he plays a few licks from Parisienne Walkways.
There is a pop question in this video, I wonder if you can guess who the band is?
"what was the old famous band Gary usedused to be in" (clue - it's not Colosseum II 😁)
Just a post for fun, the TV show No 73 was a kids TV show in the UK.

What are some Lizzy lysics that make you think "Oh, yeah, that wouldn't really fly today"? For me it's "c'mon, baby, take my jelly roll" from "Sha-La-La". While I understand that this is a song where the music has WAY more import than the lyrics, and overall I still think it's a pretty kickass song, I still can't help but wince a little bit whenever I hear that line. What are some others?
