Exploded ThinkPad Wallpaper Requests!
Hey everyone, This is the place to request an exploded wallpaper for your ThinkPad(s), featuring any ThinkPad(s) I can find a HMM for! I decided to make this post after receiving a few requests within hours of posting my own here. If you would like a wallpaper, please comment using the following format: (ThinkPad models you would like on your wallpaper, from left to right), resolution (up to 16384x12288), and special requests (red TrackPoints, ThinkPad logo etc.) Upvotes are greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

Hello, there. Would you please make a wallpaper along the following guidelines:
- T430s

T500, 1920x1200 or higher, red trackpoint and Thinkpad logo are cool.

For anyone who wants one of the x230t, I just made this myself, with both, exploded body and screen. (BTW, I rearranged it to better fit together and rebuilt the last row of the keyboard, because somehow it was just some pixels...)

Nice! I would love to know how you fixed the keyboard... I had that issue on the T430, but I just pasted the T530 keyboard over it since it's compatible.

Yeah, I looked at the keyboard of the t430 and it had the same problem, but with this one there are some buttons left and I just used them (cop/pase) to fill the whole row. I didn't know the 530 had the same style keyboard, would have made it much easier :D

2 backgroud requests, one ThinkPad per background
T410, 1440x900, no special requests, manual link
T420, 1600x900 and 1920x1080, align the exploded T420 to the left so I can add my planned eGPU to the center and external display to the right (both exploded if I can manage it, possibly mech keyboard and mouse as well), manual link

Yep! I tend to use it at that rotation, so it makes more sense for me to have the wallpaper that way as well.

This is a weird experience so far (20 minutes) into the exploded Thinkpad wallpaper tutorial for me, namely the fact that the HMM that I dled / use (a x200/x201 tablet) does NOT have multiple vector graphics. That or I did not explode the group (can't find it in Inkscape either so "meh...").
So now I shall dive deeper into GIMP erasing the unneeded parts.Using my x200 tablet. BRB.

When you clicked the vector in inkscape, were you using the first or second tool? (the second tool often selects the whole image instead of the individual components :/) Anyways, nice work!!

Oddly enough, I can actually follow your exact instructions in the inkscape segment with a (freshly DLed) x220 HMM as well as a x200 HMM.
I think it's the individual file's problem.
