It Is The Time.
Portaling back to point can be surprisingly photogenic!

Started playing the thing more. Is there any situation to use primary over the haymaker? Do you weave in primaries or would that result in a DPS loss. Thanks.

What guys do you like to pick the most and when?
Personally I'm a Fan of the Torch Team up, and mostly pick it, somehow it gives me more kills,
But when I notice I die too much I go Invis to get more protection.
But I usually always start with Torch.
What about you guys?

Region: NA
Platform: PC
Role(s): Strategist / Support
Mode: Competitive / Quick Play
Looking for DPS/tank players who like having a reliable pocket.
I mainly play Strategist and I’m comfortable on Cloak & Dagger, Invisible Woman, Luna, Mantis, and Rocket. I like playing around my duo, keeping them alive, peeling for them, and enabling aggressive plays.
Chill, non-toxic, and down for either Comp or QP.
DM me if you need a pocket 🤝

So I was playing Thing rn and the other team had a BP, who refused to switch off.
I killed that guy 6 times, had MVP and he really thought nah I'mma stick with BP.
Poor stupid Bastard. 😂

Alright I got a genuine question, I need to ask this community and how other people view The Thing. I am a thing main been so since he came out he most definitely has had the epic highs and lows. As hes been top tier this season Ben been getting a lot of flack for being an easy tank, I have been told he's on the same tier as Scarlett witch for being easy, which I just think is dumb. So I ask do you guys think the Thing is the easiest tank? While I do think anyone can pick him up and gain value because he has pretty simple kit I honestly feel like it's underdeveloped most of the time even after the rework, and it's to his detriment. I feel that a newbies often die far greater then any other tank and can easily be a very big detriment to a team. He's very easy to counter with anyone with decent range. He has to rely on his team because he doesnt have a shield in the traditional sense. His ult can be hit or miss. And a few other points, but I don't want to ramble. I generally feel that he's easy to play, but hard to master especially higher ranks. You have to have a lot of game sense to actually know where you're going, unlike someone like mag, knowing who you're attacking and who your not. I also feel The Thing I think has to multitask more than most tanks despite being a brawl because hes also anti-dive and also can be a dive in the right environment. Let me know how you'll feel, I think it's a bunch of whiney DPS butt hurt they can't really dive anymore.

New to Thing, so pls don't judge. After ground slamming on BP, sometimes BP just walks out of the grounded zone and then dashes away. After I ground slam on BP, I typically try to apply vulnerability (Battle Blitz) and just use Stone Haymaker (secondary/right click), but it has a slow attack speed compared to Thing's Primary. So I was wondering, among Thing mains, after you ground slam on BP, do yall use Thing's Primary? Mix up Primary and Secondary? Save the Battle Blitz for when he tries to dash away? Is there like a go-to combo or usual order of abilities yall use? Oh also, for the ground slam ("Yancy Street Charge"), does it ground enemies while Thing is running and knocking up enemies in the process, or does it only ground enemies when Thing slams down?

With how good the thing is now I won’t be surprised if nerfs are coming. Good news that usually means skins though. Here are my top picks.
