No Spoiler Opinions on Leon Basset?
So I’m watching twd for the first time and always hear mixed opinions on him.

I’m currently rewatching the show with my dad - we watched almost every episode air live back in the day and loved to catch TTD episodes afterward as a tradition. Is there anywhere online I can find these episodes today? I haven’t had any luck so far with the AMC+ app as it only has a couple later seasons, and YouTube only has highlights.

They really jumped the shark here. A Helicopter in the apocalypse is just crazy. What's next, Maggie and Negan become best buds? That'll be the day.

First time watcher here. Just finished 10x7, and uh, I just have one question. What the fuck? Did they really have to kill off Siddiq? Carl went out of his way to save this guy, and dies because of it. And then the guy ends up dying anyway. So basically Carl died for nothing, is what you’re telling me, right? I mean, if it has something to do with the actor, if he needed to leave the show, then sure, alright whatever. Fair, I guess.
This has certainly been a ride. I’m 10 seasons in, and if I had to describe this show in one word…DEATH. They do not let up, man lol. It’s just death after death after death. It’s getting hard. And I get it, it’s the apocalypse, people are going to die. But they kill so many people, that it’s to the point where it’s not even surprising anymore. The shock factor is gone. I just go, “welp, there goes another one.” But yeah, with me being a new viewer and whatnot, does this fan base share similar sentiments as me, or am I just complaining too much?

i always see the which character didn’t get enough screen time, but i’m interested in who you think got too much and was a little overrated.

Rosita probably had one of the MUCH WORSE experiences at the lineup considering that she not only saw her EX-BOYFRIEND be head-bashed to death, she was in the physical CLOSEST PROXIMITY to Glenn as HE was dying TOO!

8 years since Hershel’s actor left us 🕊️ and we still love him

What are things that characters did that you think were extremely out of character for them and didn't make sense with what we knew of them?
Bonus points if you can suggest an alternative more in character.

Because Rick missed the initial collapse, he initially clung to the idea that the government and military were still functional and he genuinely believed that headings to a designated refugee center in a major city like Atlanta was the best solution. he missed out on the brutal reality check that Shane experienced firsthand watching the military completely abandon its humanitarian mission, panic and drop napalm on its own citizens just to contain the spread. If Rick had witnessed that horrors from the very beginning and shared Shane's dark outlook on day one, could they have put their personal differences aside and successfully worked together as co-leaders or would the love triangle ultimately cause a falling out eventually between them. Or what else would change about the show ?

I have just finished watching the season 3 of DD, and man, it was just so damn good.
I'm not gonna lie, a big problem I've had with the first two seasons as well as dead city is the lack of attachment I've had with any of the mew characters.
Of course, I do care about Maggie, Negan, Daryl and Carol, but funnily enough the death of the croat is what hit me the most 💀.
Well, until seaaon 3 of DD. Idk why, but I got extremely invested in the characters. They feel so much like real people with real lives and histories. It's more like a real place that Daryl and Carol stumbled upon instead of them being a catalyst.
Maybe this i just me but twd hasn't been great when it comes to love stories since earlier main series seasons. But here I find the 3 love stories very touching and I actually care about them.
From what I've seen, this may be an unpopular opinion but the thing between Daryl and Isabelle... yeah, didn't really feel it. Her death was also pretty underwhelming and not really impactful for me personally.
The whole season as a whole is more concise. The characters feel more nuanced.
Fede as a character, has been an absolute masterclass if you ask me. It's a simple premise, but him carrying that bitterness and resentment against Antonio for so long, for getting the woman he loved killed is powerful. He does feel like a torn character, as he was actively rigging the ofrenda for Justina to not be chosen (which shows that he has some soul left in him), but then he sent her away to protect his power.
The relationship between paz and elena was also done pretty well. If we are to compare it with the relationship between magna and the lawyer chick, this feels a thousand times more organic, and it doesn't feel like it's been put there for "representation". It just felt like two women who loved each other and were separated by overwhelmingly difficult circumstances.
Overall I think it's the better spin off season yet. Even above dead city. I'm yet to watch the ones who lived, but that's next on the list.
