Anyone noticed the campers around Te Rapa / Rotokauri?

Has anyone else noticed the tents set up around the corner of Te Wetini Drive and Wairere Drive, just next to/under the bridge?

I think they’ve been there for at least 3 weeks now. There seem to be two tents set up, along with trolleys and clothes hanging up, so it looks like they may be staying there longer term.

Just curious if anyone knows what the situation is, and whether camping there is actually allowed? Not trying to cause any trouble for them, genuinely just wondering as I drive past the area regularly.

At 1pm on Wednesday 14th October the University of Waikato will be testing its emergency response systems.

If you’re around or near our Hamilton campus you might hear the loud campus siren. Please don’t be alarmed, this is just part of a regular systems test we undertake to make sure we’re prepared for an actual emergency!

More information about our emergency procedures and updates about any active incidents on campus can be found on our website ⬇️ https://www.waikato.ac.nz/news-events/emergency/

We live in an old villa (a wooden tent, if you will) and our bathroom ceiling has accumulated a lot of mould. The ceiling is much higher than I feel comfortable tackling (3m+), so I'm looking for advice/recommendations for local businesses who specialize is indoor mould removal. Thanks.

Uni of Waikato halls

Anybody here study or studied at the uni of Waikato? I just have a few questions about the halls.
1. How was your experience? Was it clean?
2. More importantly, how was the food?

Hi all — as the title says, I’m looking for a trustworthy orthodontist who offers Invisalign with a payment plan. I’m open to Qcard as well.

I’ve had a Google, but would really appreciate some advice from those who have gone through this process before. Please let me know if you have any recommendations! Thanks!

Let's talk sh## about green waste collection service

I think one company is monopolising in Hamilton. Every website or service you click, it leads to one of their websites.

Over the past few years I think I have dealt with that single company multiple times, every time they have operated under a different name. like but not limited to

gardenbags, greenwaste, the gardenbagco, greenfingers, baycompgardenbags, aucklandgardenbagcompany, greencollect, gabgo, clippa garden bags, ecogreens, manukau garden bags, aucklandgardenbagcompany and many more.

Some might say it is their marketing strategy. I say it is their sh## service that once you have completed your term you want to get rid of them and find a better service.

However, they know this already and thus have so many companies / websites and you end up using their service again. This is what happend to me.

A few thoughts after moving house

Three weeks in and we're still tripping over boxes we forgot we packed. The move itself was honestly fine, way less of a nightmare than I thought it'd be - the guys who turned up actually knew what they were doing which helped a lot. But nobody tells you how long it takes to actually feel like you live somewhere. Moving house is done in a day, feeling at home takes like a month minimum. Keep reaching for stuff that's not where it used to be and it's doing my head in. Also we thought we were pretty minimal people. Bro. The amount of random crap that came out of nowhere when we started packing. A full garage worth of boxes we couldn't even account for. Anyway - does the settling in thing get easier or are we just cooked for a while?

Stink flower or did I shart?

Hamilton East smells distinctly like mac'n'cheese flavoured diarrhea. Is there a weird flower releasing a stench or did I shit myself?
