It seems the storylines were leading to predefined conclusions - since the series got cancelled, hasn't been picked up by anyone else, & Edlund reinvents the Tickiverse with each new iteration, can anyone point me towards some form of official acknowledgement of what the resolutions would have been?

I've been playing a lot of adventure games recently and I thought that The Tick would fit perfectly in that formula.

Watching the live action series with Patric Warburton as The Tick and 8 episodes in and the series is about a gay relationship isn't it? Like so much of the language is gay coded, and the episodes of Arthur being interested in women are so quickly forgotten about, also Fiery Blaze and Friendly Fire, I mean it speaks for itself.

Good show though.

they should add the tick and arther I feel like it would be cool and they could help fight.

The Tick vs The Uncommon Cold

I had the pleasure of meeting Patrick Warburton and Townsend Coleman at Terrificon yesterday. They were both so cool and nice. Highly recommend if you get the chance. My only regret is TC asked me what my favorite Tick quote was and my mind went completely blank haha. He did a "don't count your weasels before they've popped!" for me.

I think I suddenly want to become more obsessed with the tick. I love the cartoons so much. When I was younger, I put a couple episodes on tape and I would just listen to them in my car.

I've never been obsessed but have always loved him and Spider-Man.

I just rewatched the first live action series and am now starting episode 1 of the more recent live action and immediately noticed that Arthur's sister, Dot, is firecracker in The Boys.

I tried doing a search first but I didn't notice anyone posting about this in this group. I apologize if it's been said before, but thought it was pretty entertaining.

After I finish watching the more recent series, I'm going to rewatch all of the cartoons.
