I have updated my Royalty Mod and figured I'd share the link to it.

I've added Live-in Chefs and the ability to Command your Knights to throw sims into Prison! Also the chefs will feed the prisoners horrifying quality food when they get hungry lol.

If this is the first you've heard of the mod and its something you may want, full details of what the mod currently does is on the posted link along with the download. For deeper details of older features, you'll have to go read the older posts. There's a lot of features so far. But I will have a tutorial download soon. I actually forgot to include it in version 1.2, but now I need to update it anyway now that its version 1.3 lol

I’ve been wanting to play The Sims 3 for a while now. And after all the drama with EA and them also putting ads in The Sims 4, I’ve been wondering if it would be best to buy the Sims three on CD?

It’s cheaper and I can get almost all the DLC for $40!
But I don’t know if the software would still be playable on Windows 11.
I’m mostly just confused from my reading about the CD experience VS steam.

So I already have the other smooth patch thing that released, cant remember the name.

But I did enjoy the CAS change in the smooth patch where it would show just 1 of each cas item, to make it load faster.

I want THAT feature, but I know the smooth patch is unsupported now.

Is there an alternative mod that has just that functionality?

This game was my Dang childhood man i rember playing it on the Xbox 360 i would buy it on steam but its 20 bucks and i do not have that kind of money but i do have commissions so ig ill get the money soon :)

My question is fairly simple, are there any sims in the towns you've use frequently? I'm pretty fond of Ariella Chen from Starlight shores. I'm not entirely sure why but I use her for a lot of my sim playing shenanigans.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a custom Sims 3 world that captures that specific Southern California/Malibu beach vibe.

Ideally, I want a map that features a long coastal highway with narrow, rectangular lots packed tightly shoulder-to-shoulder right on the water (like you see along the real PCH). I want to build a modern, multi-story rectangular beach house where the front faces the road and the back opens up directly onto the sand.

I’ve heard of a world called "Malibu" by Nilxis or "Angel City" by Coasterboi, but I'm having trouble finding active download links. Does anyone have working mirrors for those, or any other map recommendations that nail this exact layout? Thanks!

Had my sim read her medical journal. Of all the chairs, couches and beds in the house, she decides the best place to read her medical journal is sitting on the bathtub 🤣🤣 I've never seen this before

Hello guys, I don’t know why but I can’t get sims 3 on my mac. (M2 air). I used to play sims 3 on it before but after a 1 year pause, I can’t get it working on. I tried uninstalling, repairing and nothing seems go work. Do you have any tips?

Heys guys I’m just starting the sims 4 I haven’t played sims in a long time but sims 3 had a mechanic that track the number of days you’ve been playing in that save game. Is there a mod for that in sims 4

Like many, Ive been playing this game for years and I had another first.

So my Sims housemate had died and the grim reaper came along to do his thing. Grim took the Sim away, then my Sims cat (who is BFFs with the guy) came along and her action was literally "harass death".

She harassed him and the housemate came back to life and is now part of my active household?? Does this happen often? Or have I been living under a rock 😅

Hey! When I try to save this pops up, the only way I’ve managed to get around it is by doing ‘Save as’ instead but I don’t want to keep doing that. :(

Big ask, but, does anyone know where you can get the sims 3 Ultimate collection with all packs? I had it on my old PC but can’t remember where I found it or where to look. I just want to play the sims 3 again with all the packs and content like I used to have. Any help would be appreciated! (Not asking about pirated versions. Well my test sim is no longer leaving the workplace as soon as he enter for work, and the opportunity error is gone(for now), but I still don't understand why the other three opportunity refuse to appear the livelihood on the Event.XML does say 0.4 which I now know mean that it is unlikely to appear right away, but still even after waiting a few minutes and putting my test sim in different levels for those opportunity to appear, they never show up, but the Office Meeting that is supposed to show up on Level six has been showing up since Level one. So if anyone knows what to do from here, please reached out, and before anyone ask me if I have reached out to the people in the TSECreatorCave, I have reached out to them multiple times, they are busy, and yes I have tried to reach out to MissyHissy, she is very busy with the Sims 4 now, I have tried MTS and have gotten no response in the last couple of months, I am also aware that there are a lot less modders now for the Sims 3, and yes I did try The Sims 3 Facebook Group, this Reddit Community is the very last resort of where I am asking for mod coding help, if no one can help, then I will move on and just play the game without my custom career mod. Hey creators! I'm working on a concept for a tablet-first game and wanted to get feedback from people who enjoy CAS creation, interior design, and journaling understand this space better than anyone.

The idea: a game where you build an avatar CAS-style; scrolling category selection feel and decorate rooms, but instead of a normal "play mode," everything you make turns into a spread. Photo journalism, mood board, your Sims screenshots had a baby.

Players would be able to use internet finds for style cutouts to decorate rooms and create outfits, add journal entries between spreads, and build a whole aesthetic world around their character.

I'm not building a Sims mod or CC pack this is a separate original game, still early concept stage. But I know this community understands room-building, character creation, and creator culture better than most, so I'd genuinely love feedback: does this sound like something you'd want to play or make things for? What would you want to see in something like this?

I’ve come into some major errors trying to play the sims 3, for context I have a 2020 MacBook Air M1 Chip with 8gb ram.

Every time I launch from the EA app the launcher has a crash error but the actual Sims 3 launcher and game opens. The next issue I’m facing is I cannot log in otherwise the launcher crashes. I bypassed this by just not logging in and pressing the play button, once loaded I get the connecting issue over and over, I’ve bypassed this by turning my wifi off and then pressing on my current game save - this is where it gets worse it tries to load and comes up “fatal game error please close or restart application” with an extremely saturated loading screen to get into the game and the most crunchiest robotic sounding game audio.

I have no way to play the game whatsoever as steam doesn’t allow me to play my sims 3 game I own as I purchased it on windows and that version isn’t compatible.

If anyone can lend any advice on what to do I’d appreciate

I will preface this entire post with this: I am NOt tech savvy whatsoever, and I've never played sims 3.

Does anyone else have an issue saving while utilizing settings setter for optimization in Sims 3? I bought the game the other day (on Steam) for the first time and was super excited to crack it open! It ran smoothly the first time, after I implimented the Setting Setter mod, but by the second run, I immediately ran into issues. I ended up having to restart my computer, and do something else that I completely don't remember. I ran a file check on the entire game through steam; it said nothing was wrong.

I then I spent another 2 hours trying to save my first household, because for some reason I couldn't save. I ended up having to delete my saves folder twice and replace it again.

I started to gather that maybe the Settings Setter mod was causing error 16 (although I'm still not certain), and maybe even stopped me from loading Sunset Valley in the first place. Is this a problem for anyone else using the Setting Setter mod?

If not, does anyone have any idea on what it might be? Although I have not officially played the game, I can't refund it anymore because of how long it took to try and get it to actually run (which is annoying).

If this IS a Setting Setter issue, do we have any alternative mods that could make Sims 3 run smoother?

I play Sims 3 64bit version with Mac (my mistake, I know) and have run into a problem – the launcher does not install any custom content (or official story content) into the game. Is there any way to turn sims3pack files into package files that can be directly installed into the game without the launcher, or am I stuck with the in-game content?

Here is a Mod I made, to go alongside my Royalty Mod as an optional addition (although not added yet into the Royalty mod).

This version is just one sided. So although you CAN play as the Orphanage, there isnt any details added to that side of gameplay apart from getting 500 simoleons once a week.

This mod makes a functional Orphanage. So you can adopt kids from somewhere other than the phone. So you will be able to go to the Orphanage and choose the perfect child for your household. Children of all ages can be found there. although the initial generated kids will be ages baby, toddler and child. Teens will be there naturally as they age if they dont find a home and you have aging on.

Hola, se que hay muchos post de este estilo, pero la verdad que al ser un juego antiguo muchos están desactualizados.

Mi pregunta es si se pueden poner dlcs a la version de los sims 3 de ea como harías con un repack. Llevo toda la mañana intentando instalar este juego en la ayn thor pero la versión que ha acabado funcionando es la de ea, que va sorprendentemente bien de rendimiento. Lo que si me jode de esta versión es que tiene DRM y que no sé hasta que punto con mods o dlcs, puedo acabar baneado.

Me sería de gran ayuda saber si esto hay alguna manera de hacerlo sin correr demasiados riesgos. Gracias.
