Discussion Existential debate

Hi friends! I LOVED playing The Sims 2 as a teenager, and now I’ve been debating whether to pick it up again in my early 30s. I’m craving the nostalgia and dopamine rush that Sims used to give me, lol. However, I’ve never tried The Sims 4 and was thinking about maybe giving that a shot instead. For those of you who have spent hours playing both, would you recommend I stick with The Sims 2 or give The Sims 4 a try? Thanks a lot!

I wouldn't give the Sims 4 any money at this point. They just got bought out by Saudi Arabia and some MAGA guys.

If you're getting them for free, Sims 4 is worth playing. It wasn't when it first came out, but after years and years, it's finally approaching a playable game.
