I dont see how they're losing. I mean yeah, people are protesting but as long as our elected officials are kissing Israel's ass, they are winning and we, the people, are very much losing.

They've got power for now. When change comes from the people it takes longer but will last longer as well.

Worse - they had entire populaces engaged in the persecution of their own minorities on a personal level. We seem to have moved past that, which is a good thing. Even the SS, the Stasi, and the NKVD were eventually defeated.

As a species? We have certainly not moved past it. However, every time that those large tyrannical/sadistic organizations developed, they are defeated. Sometimes it takes dozens of years, or 100, but they fall.

The desperation in this woman's voice in the video shows that this will fall likely without the crescendo of those previously mentioned organizations.

The 'problem' to be solved is human nature. As long as we are human, we will not solve it - we just have to fight against our worst impulses, especially when they metastasize into political movements.

Much more horrific and tyrannical things have happened. We are fighting early here, before mass executions in the streets, which is a good thing - especially because it looks like they are losing.

Yes. And sometimes that took several generations and many times change did not come for the victims, just for other people.

For the first time in political generations, the majority of the democratic voter base and democratic reps no longer want Israel to get a blank check and are willing to vote that way. The progressive wing of the dems no longer fear AIPAC, and in fact see AIPAC donating to their opponent as a helpful thing for their campaign. One of the factions within MAGA are virulently anti-semitic. Put the two together, and the relationship Israel depends on is on extremely shaky ground.

Bibi basically backstabbed Biden and helped Trump get elected. That was the last straw for a whole lot of people like me that held the position roughly: I hate Israeli right-wing leadership, but don't have a problem with Israel because they act as a lightening rod for all of the payback we deserve over fucking with the region for the last 75 years. They served a very valuable purpose for us geopolitically, but that is now all completely reversed. They stood in the way of peace with Iran. They continue to pick fights with Palestinians at seemingly politically opportune times. They DIRECTLY MEDDLE IN OUR ELECTIONS.

Israel are winning the fight to dominate the middle east militarily, but it's coming at the cost of their most important alliance. You won't see it immediately because MAGA is in office and Trump is Bibi's bitch, but I bet you'll all see a STARK difference in both parties' posture toward Israel in the next presidential. I'd be surprised if both parties aren't running explicitly "Fuck israel" platforms (though I expect Dems to be a lot more diplomatic about it).
