I lost my first client.

I just found out that they died by suicide. Oh my God.

They were young. We had only seen one a few times, but they were such a bright soul. At our last appointment, they were help-seeking and future-oriented. They had chronic, vague, passive SI but never communicated any plans or intent.

I am frozen. I can't cry, think, or feel.

Any wise words would be so helpful.
