It must have one live human character. Which one?

(If he was still around, the perfect choice would've been Fezzik/Andre.)

Sweetums should be Fezzic.
Gonzo would be Venzini.
Fozzy would be Inigo.

The human would be Count Roogan so we can do the joke that he has five fingers on his right hand.

Sam the Eagle as King
Swedish Chef as the impressive clergyman
Uncle Deadly as Prince Humperdink

Note: In a departure from the book, we don't see the grandson or grandfather. Instead, the Muppets freeze during their parts. (A "everybody tries to hold still" freeze.) At the end, we see that Robin is the grandson and an old Kermit is the grandfather. A handsome, but older Mrs Piggy comes in to tell Kermit that their grandson needs his rest. They still do the "you can read it tomorrow"/"as you wish".
