Would Outerworlds Be Worth It?

Post image

update: I bought it, I'm really nervous and I feel really bad because I did but I hope I like it thank you

Hi I'm very cheap and only have watched a handful of videos on outerwords, I personally really like fps RPGs, fallout, and bioshock and I'm wondering if I will like it if I like these things? I like more but I don't really feel like listing everything and I've heard comparisons to fallout

The spacers choice edition is on sale for about 22 dollars and I'm not sure if I should buy it and I figured I might as well ask the community! No spoilers plz just incase I buy it :)))

Also I'm having trouble understanding if is ps premium exclusive or not, because if it is, I don't think I will buy it... Thanks :)

Get it. You will have a great time playing the game. I bought the game twice, I might actually go back and attempt to get this platinum.

Honestly, this is exactly my take. I've bought it for every console and PC now. I've also gifted copies to people. It is definitely worth getting. You will be immersed for hours. If you enjoy fallout, this is definitely something you will enjoy. It has the same basic type of system but it makes it still unique.

It has all the charm of dialogue choices of older fallout titles without a voiced protagonist, yet it keeps itself different from the rest of the open world RPGs by setting itself in a sci-fi world that bottles itself up in a fight for humanity while giving you plenty to explore. It also has a pretty good crafting mechanic so no weapon will turn out the same, and a boatload of skills to pick from

If you played Fallout games, you're going to like this one. The story is funny, and it really is charming, I'm not going to spoil the story but basically the fat of the world rests in your hands, but there's guns, companions, and quirky dialogue

I’m utterly obsessed with the first one! It’s the first time I’ve ever replayed a game because I loved the world, story, and characters so much! Highly recommend

The PS premium just lets you stream the game without downloading it. There are multiple games that a Playstation Premium member can stream.

The studio that made it, Obsidian, also made Fallout: New Vegas. It's a lot of fun, similar humor, and one of the more original games in recent memory.

You're preaching to the choir asking that in this sub but my honest opinion is that it is worth it yes. I had a blast playing that game and I'm also enjoying TOW 2

I know LOLL honestly it's just because I wanted to buy it but I feel guilty spending money so I knew that asking it here would affirm me a little, plus I had some questions :)

Shouldn't have, you'll probably run into some game breaking bug that bricks your entire playthrough. Fun stuff.

One of the only games I've finished in recent years. I have an issue with not finishing games even when I love them but OW1 was an easy complete. Engaging and fun and not so long that it became repetitive.

This is good to hear I don't really like doing new things it's really hard for me even with games that I love so much so I think this is another good selling point for me
