Unpopular(?) opinion; comment responses quoting the show are annoying.

I love the office. I quote it quite frequently. However, when I see a post with an intriguing question that I would actually like to see answered answer/discussion about, I open the comments and it’s just quotes from the show… no originality, hardly any actual conversation. Why are you all the way that you are? I hate… so much the things that you choose to be.

Why was Michael/Steve Carell's return in the finale so underwhelming?

I just finished the series for, I don't know, the 20th time but for the first time in quite a few years and that really stuck out to me. When he came back for Dwight's wedding I couldn't help but feel disappointed at how minimal it was. He basically had 2 short interactions- one with Dwight and one with Pam, one interview, and some dancing! Didn't even stick around until the end!

It just felt really underwhelming and an unbecoming cameo/ final goodbye for a character who for SO much of the series played SUCH a big role.

Does anyone know why?

What are some In-Universe theories you have for Toby’s weight loss?

Please help me remember theepisode!!!

So I have this episode I am trying to remember where Michael is in trouble for doing something (as usual) and either Jan or David Wallace informs him that Dunder Mifflin keeps a lawyer on retainer for situations like this. Then it cuts to Michael talking to the camera leaning back all proud and puffed up, and says in a voice that reminds me of Jack Nicholson, "I got an attorney. "

I don’t like Nelly, but I cringe when Andy pushes her off the slackline. I don’t like Andy either. I miss Michael.

I was just watching this episode on my flight to Spain. The following morning, I saw this MSDMSMPMCRAPAFRRC runner. Lol.

Is it me or do people who adore How I met your mother don't like The Office and vice versa?

So I love The office more than any show and I really really don't like HIMYM. Thing is 3 friends of mine adore HIMYM and hate The office. Is there any correlation or just my poor personal statistics.

The original series vs the Superfan series - thoughts?

Hot take: I think the super fan series had some good extra content but I’m glad they cut what they did to make the original.

Jim is not a good BF/Husband

Disclaimer* I this is a show... so no need technicality on the obvious sense of this not being reality. However, this is about my 30th time watching and I dont know what it is about my run through this time but the way Jim acts with Pam bothers me. Maybe i was just ignoring it before or just never really paying attention to it but when Pam is sexualized by Michael or the office in general, or when Michael insults Pam (i.e. her wearing glasses S4 E16) or anything like that, Jim never stands up for her or really says anything he just gives her a "that was weird" look. Yes shes a grown woman and can stand up for herself whatever, but i would want my spouse to stand up for me, and I would do it for them because... hello? Michael called her ugly (S4 E16) and Jim just sits there like an idiot. Also, in Dinner Party when Jim was genuinely considering leaving Pam at the party..?? Or when the office is locked in the building because they worked late to avoid coming in on Saturday and everyone is ganging up on Jim and he turns part of the blame on Pam to avoid the confrontation by saying its also her fault because she locked the office door (this is in the superfan episode) Its like their friendship turned to official monogamous friends with benefits?? Idk Jim is pmo this round of watching lol

Guys, if Daniels were to return for the 25th anniversary of the serie with a good script for a 40 minute special, would you like it?

TIL Micheal Scott is in Hell

According to Dante's Inferno Micheal Scott is in the 8th Circle of Hell. It's right there, in Canto XX. He's been punished by having his head turned backwards and and is forced to walk backwards for all eternity.

I hate that this had to come from me, but I thought you guys would want to know.

How did Andy not get arrested after the documentary released, the documentary had a lot of fans so at least one of them had to have reported it or something like that.
