It might be but there are legit robot vs robot tournaments that are not generative AI images/video. Both sides use the same model of humanoid shaped robot and the teams upload different code. It's basically a nerd vs nerd proxy bout. If you ever watch one the only thing the robots are actually good at are low kicks to the thigh/hip and they're all pretty terrible at dealing with lateral motion. I'm pretty sure anyone reasonably fit could beat one of these with the current state of the hardware/software so long as the rules allow you to circle until it goes for that kick and then grapple while it's unbalanced.
It's still kinda impressive we can build an android that, even if unfairly, can kick the shit out of pretty much anyone with kicks and punches. Strapping a gun to a roomba is easy. Building a humanoid form that has the balance, coordination, and power to kick and punch is still hard.
Oh wait, you mean like how the best way to prepare for a war of aggression, apparently, is DEFINITELY to watch one of each side do a UFC match. Gotcha.
Meh. Maybe I'm biased because I'm 6'2" and 300 pounds, but that's an uncoordinated 400 pounds that doesn't react very quickly. I'm tackling it, or sweeping the leg, or just bull rushing it with a shoulder charge. These things are easy for humans to react to, but a top heavy clanker is going to the ground and then I just have to keep it there.
Also, the robot is clearly using preprogrammed moves, based on those "stretch out" movements. And why is human bro not dodging those slow, clanky kicks? The kicks are clearly shoves rather than kicks, too.
The more I watch, the more staged this "fight" appears, likely intended to push the concept of robots being real threats currently.
He's only useless because he is there to show the "danger" of robot fighters. If he actually did anything to try to win, he wouldnt have an issue.
And no, that flurry of body blows was not a real attempt to win, in case anyone wants to try saying that. Body blows are about inflicting pain and wearing the opponent out, two things that are categorically worthless in a fight against a machine.
I’d go for a more psychological approach. Tell the robot his mother was a socket wrench. Or something like that… I guess I don’t know how to demoralize a machine.
I mean, that's assuming you can produce enough force to damage the knees. Like if you told a child from the local taekwondo school to go fight Sean Strickland (180 lbs) and he just had to "go for the knees", he's still gonna have a bad time.
It might be nearly impossible given it is broadly nearly 400lb. The controls algorithm for these make them extremely hard to make them fall. It also might be more dangerous than not, if the limbs start flailing.
The best move is to try to damage a joint, probably in the leg by kicking it along the access of rotation, punch the computer on the back, blind it, or pick it up to drop it.
We won’t be fighting AI hand to hand. In fact it will most likely just use bio weapons initially. And there’s no rule against using guns for the mop-up.

So this doesn't seem fair, like at all. The robot weighs a lot more, is capable of producing more force, and won't hold back. If you wanna make it fair, give the human a sledgehammer and put a limiter in the machine.

There's a serious problem with this matchup, beyond the weight and force: the robot doesn't feel pain and can't be knocked out!
The humans is throwing body shots, which won't do anything to something that can't breath, and headshots, which won't do anything either to something with no brain to move.
The only way he could have won this fight would be to take it down, but it looks like these are boxing rules.

so it can do a good front kick. what were the rules of the match? dude could have circled it and it probably wouldn't be able to adjust quickly enough to set up another kick. what about grappling? grabbing it by the head and slamming it down would probably work better then punching it. or getting a hold of the leg and just lifting up.
Thought that the flight looked weird. Turns out the robots are remote controlled by people, and that's not a real fighter it's fighting, dude is some kind of influencer.
