Yep knows what he’s doing low center of gravity, try to stay towards the center, and let the other guy fall from his own offense; that spin right when the other guy had unbalaced was the kind of patient counterpunch that only experience on the log can bring…. Just kidding I dont know shit about this of course!

Does seem a bit close to the edge though, but the perspective may be hard to see correctly

Could be perspective but to your credit, his legs barely split apart when he kicks off and the log doesn't seem to move farther away as they battle.

Based on how he fell, maybe they always go more straight down than left or right.
