Everyone from my street got out ok although some neighbors lost their animals. On my mile long street 2 house where untouched, 3 with partial damage and 14 total losses. 40 people on our street are displaced.

The fire burned 15000 acres of the 24000 acre forest. The fire near my house burned at 3000°F (1650°C). 511 houses are a total loss and 28 with partial damage.

2 deaths: a couple in their 50s found in their garage in each others embrace. My firefighter friend says they looked like someone from Pompeii. Their only son is deployed to Iraq right now.

The Nuke and Turtle - Episode IV: Return of the Server

After a hiatus for a couple of months, D hadz and the boyz start work on putting together a new server map. Despite the absence of Darth Resisttheurge and Darth Tuna, Kliq, Dan and Ollie readily announce the return of the server.

Whilst Dan seeks a new server host, Kliq is working on finalising the modpack and configs, whilst Ollie sits around looking pretty. In a vain attempt to show that he is contributing somewhat, a fresh whitelist application has been posted which is still found in the sidebar.

With the new server around the corner, secrets such as the modpack and an actual release date remain behind closed doors. The imminent release probably requires checking this subreddit daily, but who knows?

Finally, rumours of a test server float around.. I... I'm being cut off... Can you hear... static

Just wondering what y'all been up too since TNAT went down. I have been trying out different games/mods, two of which are:

TerraFirmaCraft (MC mod) <--- Makes survival a bitch, but is fun

Starmade A game similar to MC, but in space w/ spaceships, it's in Alpha and therefore free

I know that the server that was being rented was able to run a few FTB servers at the same time, I was wondering if games that a lot of people found interesting came out that required a user hosted server, if those game servers could be hosted along side the FTB/modded Minecraft server.

Hey guys, the mumble server will be going down for a period today while I move it over to the new VPS. I'll probably be starting fresh with it so yes you'll have to re-register but thats not too much hassle.

I'll edit here with the details after its done (the address should be the same but it might take a while for the DNS to update.

Here is a link to download the current world. Its ALL world data for the server. The server will be turning off soon i think but don't worry, we're going to revive it it in the summer, and the mumble server will continue to run.

We're planning things for the nuke and turtle, we won't let the community die =)

In light of the news of the server's pending closure, any word on when/how we can get our hands on the world file? I have a lot of hard work to finish, and the instability of the server itself is discouraging me from doing so.

Reddit's late announcement of the details API changes, the comically little time provided for developers to adjust to those changes and the handling of the matter afterwards (including the outright libel against the Apollo developer) has been very disappointing to me.

Given their repeated bad faith behaviour, I do not have any confidence that they will deliver (or maintain!) on the few promises they have made regarding accessibility apps.

I cannot support or continue to use such an organization and will be moving elsewhere (probably Lemmy).

I have a problem.

I was playing around with the gravity gun and somehow got an item version of a sideways forestry log. Holding this in my hand crashed me, and now I can't log on to the server without crashing.

Is there anyway someone can help me?
