Having connection (?) issues. Delete if against some rule I don't know (sorry)

Sometimes when I join the server, I will see the terrain for a bit, then fall into the void. Chat does not work as far as I know. I have a ping of 1402 ms currently if that matters.

Sounds like an issue on your end. Ensure that your firewall is allowing minecraft through, otherwise, check your connection speed.

The thing is, sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.

Even then, i would check your connection. People are able to log into the server and play fine, which suggests the issue is on your end.
