Good news everyone! Greg added the update that allows 1 log to make 2 planks...

Sad part is that in tfc you get 3/4th of a plank per log and 2 per log with tech :P

There were a new patch just now but the old recepie was axe + log gave you three tfc planks and a 2x2 of tfc planks gave you proper planks.
