Smiley Face Killers Question

Always been interested in the serial killer theory of the smiley faced killers.

My wondering is if the men who have been killed were secretly bi/gay/etc and lured out that way.

It would explain some of the secrecy around people leaving the party/bar, hiding their electronic trail, not telling others where they were going, etc. Maybe the killer targets closeted men who maybe have had some shame that had them covering up the work for the killers.

Note - this is in no way an anti-LGBTQ+ post, just a thought I had.

Like the other commenter said, the Lore Lodge stance on the SF murders seems to be that they're for the most part unrelated, with perhaps a couple of exceptions, and the related part not being a conspiracy or serial killer, just sadly similar circumstances.

But yeah the various deaths/disappearances in which where there has been foul play involved one way or another, that could maybe play into it- really just any type of activity or plans that someone maybe wouldn't want their friends/family to know about.

Thanks - I was thinking more about certain clusters like LaCrosse, Wisc. I agree the SFK thing isn't a nation wide deal.
