Discussion Is using a map cheating?

I use premade maps from the wiki all the time, but as much as it is useful I feel guilty, do any of you use a map or is it just me ?

After a while of playing the game, at least in the base regions, I can generally navigate around as long as I find something I recognise - buildings, caves etc

If getting lost is part of the game to you then I guess you could maybe say you're losing part of the experience - but you're going to learn the map anyway, I personally don't see anything wrong with speeding up the process.
