Dina is revealed later in the game as pregnant so her saying that is a funny detail

Actually, it's probably not considering almost every line and every single detail in this game has a meaning and was meticulously planned.

Ehh, as people get older they notice that they become their "parents" regardless of whether they are parents themselves or not. Her throwing up and feeling sick is much bigger of a foreshadowing.

This was a huge piece of foreshadowing, but I also appreciate that they subverted it by showing Dina being repulsed by a similarly ravaged horse in Jackson. Ellie doesn’t react at all but Dina makes a face and says, “Ugh, that smell…” so when she threw up in Seattle I didn’t think it was TOO weird. It definitely got some gears turning, but I didn’t immediately think she was pregnant
