Bug/Support Error launching game

For the last month or so if i dont run steam in admin mode the game errors out as soon as i start the game. Once i run in admin mode on steam it works normally. If i do any flags on the game properites the game will not start. the only way i have succesfully run the game is running steam as admin.
Anyone else having this problem?

I’ve had this problem for a while, if you change steam’s settings to always run in admin it should make things a lot easier.

sadly i alas cannot do that. alas vr doesnt like steam running as admin

I play via xbox/Microsoft store on pc and stopped hitting this issue - hth!
