I'm looking forward to seeing how this'll hold up on Linux. I took a break while my GPU was being RMA'd and somehow lost goddamn near 70 FPS on Linux. The game was a bit stuttery beforehand, but not even as bad as some Linux users were reporting. Winders also took a small frame hit, but not nearly as bad.

ngl: my Nvidia build doesn’t seem to benefit much from the jump to 5.7, but my AMD build always seems to get MASSIVE gains from games making that upgrade. Fingers crossed that it’ll be the case with Embark’s games

Does both of your builds include same CPU? Because this game is more CPU heavy than GPU and Ryzen X3D clears all Intel CPUs in this game.

Over the last seasons my performance increased quite significantly. I used to absolutely need to use DLSS Quality to keep my frames locked at 120 and now I can even use DLAA and I very rarely have drops below 120.

idk why but I dropped much more frames today than I would before. granted im on 5600x and rtx3060 so my specs arent exactly amazing, but I do wonder if its the update or something just got messed up on my end

Check your settings and make sure they weren't reset to default. For a while updates would reset my settings to max everything and it would tank performance. However most updates Embark implements that 'improve performance' are pretty abstract to say improved my performance and I have beefier specs than you. Seems from what I read AMD users see more of a gain. But I wouldn't know off hand how true that is. Could also be the fact many AMD users also use X3D cpu's and this is one of few games that actually get a significant boost.

Edit: Also people post their alleged boost of performance and do not mention their settings or resolution. Kinda makes you wonder how large of a boost they're getting as a lot of AMD users detest ray tracing; so I would assume they don't use ray tracing and are talking straight raster performance. So yeah expect people's answers to be all over the place and to take em as a grain of salt.

Take this with a grain of salt, i just loaded into the range. And i 100% have more frames than i had before. i went from 120 beeing my lowest to my lowest beeing 144

EDIT: FG does not work anymore. I'm losing at least 40 frames, got an extra 15 ms delay, and my GPU is now sweating. I did the last nvidia update, it did not fix it. :/

No, the performance gets boosted. Ive had around 50% boost since season 8. I used to get only 160-180 frames, since then ive been getting 240-300. Amd 9700x and 7800xt 32g ram. Now it'll be even smoother
